They seem good - like you're really trying to explain what's good and bad. But remember to give some SPECIFIC info - for example, in your Pico Vs Anonymous review, you mention that it's not as bad as the score would suggest repeatedly, but never actually state anything that you liked about it. Rather than just say it's not bad, why not cite something you liked?

Conversely, in the Beelion review, it sounds like you were irked by a lot of things, but then went on to change your mind. However, it gives a confusing message - would it be worth the author changing those elements? What should he do to get a higher score? It seems like you hadn't really made your mind up about the submission.

Lastly, maybe splitting disparate thoughts or points into multiple paragraphs would help make them easier to read.

I think your reviews are pretty good though and these are just my opinions. If you do want me to review a review of yours though, just remind me when you're reviewing something of mine.

If you are inactive for more than three weeks and if your completion rate falls below 10% you are excluded from the list. You may rejoin this club, but your points will be lost.

Any thoughts on tightening this up? As it stands, if someone reviews the stuff for 4 weeks, then decides that this club isn't for them and so leaves, it'd statistically take 36 weeks for their % to reach 10.

On a more real-world note, a lot of the folk on the members list don't really seem like they're gonna be coming back to review, which is a shame but I don't really feel like they should all remain on the list after having been inactive for so long. It makes the reviews/member a bit meaningless

Thanks. I thought it was necessary, since Shadow-1409 (currently ranked #10) now has over 1000 points. And because of that he "messed up" the lining already on spot # 10. ^^

Yeah, you're right. Maybe we can raise the percentage. I want to keep this as simple as possible to avoid confusion for new members... some members should be taken off at the next update, as we have a hughe bunch of requests, but it takes quite long for them to actually be taken off, that's right.

So, maybe we should raise the percentage to 20%. Additionally, if a member is inactive for 5(?) weeks he/she will be taken off, no matter what his/her percentage is.

Of course milinko is not affected by that rule. ;)

This sounds good to me. At first, I thought it was overly restrictive - if someone is on a big holiday for a couple of months and wants to stay away from the 'net, they get kicked out. However, I guess it's not the end of the world if I'm kicked off - I'll just rejoin - and I think a 'cleaner' memberlist is a higher priority.

There's always the possibility to just say: "Hey guys, I'm away for the next $amount months due to $reason. But don't kick me off, because $another_reason".

Some of us create Flash or music, but many of us don't. Reviewing stuff is what brings us together more than making stuff, so I wouldn't come here looking for a collab to join.

I just completed the latest batch of requests. I consider it a creative exercise; what can I write that's meaningful about *this* topic. Now how about this *other* topic. With the music it gets rather tricky since I'm not a musician. I hope what I've written is useful to the artists, but I make no guarantees.

Thanks for the update, Haggard. I've actually been too busy this week to respond to this particular thread, as I've been getting the requests done. It looks like Saturday is going to be absolutely mental, as I've still got all 17 of the Audio requests to deal with, complete with most of the games and tghe three spotlight submissions as well.

I'm away for a Chinese on Friday night (The life of a popular chap is one that I must bear with dignity :P), so precious reviewing time will be lost :(

Should be worth watching :P
