wat does FL and MMM stand for?
i asked if anyone knew how to make music (like for the AP) and a guy sed to get FL or MMM. Can anyone tell me what they stand for and where to get them. Thanks heaps!

Seconded, I make all my soundtrack music with FL, because it got a damn good sequencer. In itself it might be pretty worthless, but it can become so powerful that people may cry.

No you should have said 'n00bs commonly use this to create....' instead of 'commonly used by n00bs'.

Here it goes again, ok, I was already in a bad mood, so listen up prick.
I have been using FL, B0UNC3 has been using FL, chron uses FL (with rewire, like I do).
Alot of the ocremixers use FLStudio, and hell. Compared to those, You can shine with your fancy software, but it wont help. Because compared to B0UNCE, Chron and REALLY much the OCR people, you are a beginner.

There are people there using FL studio, that has been signed for several thousand dollars. Now you go to him, calling him a noob.
I've been fucking tired of you knowitall-pricks who dont even know shit about the full potential of a program, and then just bash it. (I am sorry to Rucklo, as I misread his post), but you, I see no way of seeing "FL is n00b software" to be the same as "It's commonly used by alot of noobs"

I'm not saying that FL is the most godly of all, because it's not in professional terms.
But neither is Cubase. Hell, I like them both. But you just going around saying "Wow, Your music is really suckage even though it owns mine in every aspect, because when you are using FL you are a noob". Is just fucking idiotic, and at many degrees even as low as retarded.

You know, Fruity Loops is indeed for beginners (if not noobs). It's VERY SIMPLE, CHEAP and USER FRIENDLY, and that's what beginners look for!

But CUBASE, and LOGIC PRO, and GIGASTUDIO etc, are PROFESIONAL!!! No so called "noobs" dare to mess with such apps because of the learning curve.

But a talented person with Cubase is going to make something more profesional when compared to a talented person who used Fruity Loops only because Cubase is more "serious" and with greater abilities.

No it is not.
FL's biggest advantage is Rewire.
Making it possible for me to use both FL and Gigastudio, which I am doing in some of my soundtrack music (not at NG). And I can guarantee that with the proper VSTi's, FL can beat Cubase any day.

You can rewire in cubase. Cubase is, according to most musician with knowledge (not myself, i never used FL) better in many ways. FL probably has it´s advantages, but still Cubase is supposed to be a more sofisticated program.

But it´s up to personal taste as well as skill, of course.
