Picture this: Teletubbies The Movie, soon to be craeted, probably, I don't know, I don't watch the teletubbies or follow them in their development. A teletubby walks up to the screen, and through it, followed by the other 3. They wreak havoc and destruction in the area, and bring other popular children's TV characters to life, and soon the earth is overrun. Then, there is an all out battle between the different characters, and they all kill each other, leaving the Earth lifeless and desolate.

And for how the downfall of the human race will come about if this doesn't happen, click my sig pic. Ook...

that seems like too much work and with everything happening just now i doubt it will happen

Well, I once heard on discovery that the plague was some form of cholera and could break out again. But it wouldn't kill all of humanity, it stopped in the middle ages and quarantine was affective. Also, the virus did not take kindly to heat, that was how some holy man survived. He sat between 2 large fires, the heat kept the bacteria away.

Some more about the virus:
A virus that would kill the entire population seems unlikely, it would have to be one that noone is immune to. There are some people who resist deadly viruses, some people are seropositive but stay unaffected by the disease. But that is the only example I've got. Don't have much else.

Now to the rest. This virus would have to be extremely contagious, and be able to resist several kinds of climates. From cold Siberia to the hot deserts in Africa. The virus would also have to be able to break through quarantine.
Unless someone decides to destroy the world with a special virus created himself, like in Twelve Monkeys.

ummmmm he also predicted the falling of the twin towers in new york calling them "2 great brothers"

i have a book on him and the person who interpreted it puts their own views on it like the world should have ended at the end of the 20th century (did i mention it's quite old?) there are lots of prophices that have no explination and may still come he wrote 10 chapters (what he called centurys because there was a hundered prophices in each century) and there are probabley at least 400 still that haven't happend

they are open for discussion but he wrote them in such a way to confuse people so he wouldn't be accused to be a magician (it was in the 16th century)

Yeah every topic ever made is still here except for a few that have been manually deleted because of content. Of course some of them are locked too..

None of Nostradamus' prophecies have been interpreted until after the event happened. Most of the time the verse has been twisted completely out of shape. Predicting Hitler, the actual word he writes is hister, hister was the old name for the danube. Most of his pedictions make no coherent sense, all of them are incredibly vague, and for some reason he felt the need to write in prose, which he wouldn't do if he was making serious predictions.

Mulder_xuk, could you tell me the name of that book? I am somewhat interested in this Nostrodamus character, maybe I'll look for it and read it myself.

its called the prophecies of nostradamus by erika cheetham it has the original french (with some words in other languages) with english translation but the translation is can miss some stuff out (i know a little french and it missed out an entire line for some)

some of his other perdictions were polaris missles air travel and hirishima and nagasaki

they are a little unusual in the way they are written and you need to think about it for yourself with the book i have it has what the translator thinks it means but i disagree with most of what they said

There will be two pestilences (or scourges) like none ever seen

Even if that was meant to predict the atomic bombs being dropped, there is no way that could have been interpreted as that before the event, and it can be interpreted in other ways. Near the gates and between two cities there will be two pestilences doesn't fit into either the a-bombs or the AIDS and HIV interpretation. It has also been interpreted as the Berlin wall.

The millenium prediction is one of only a few dated predictions, dated to the seventh month of 1999. It says a great king of terror will come from the sky raessurecting the great king of "Angolmois", mostly interpreted as the mongols. The great king of the mongols could only be Genghis Kahn.The last line says that war will reign before and after. In 1999, I didn't notice a great king of terror or the ressurection Ghengis Kahn.

The Kennedies were never mentioned in any part of the prophecies. What has been interpreted as being them is references to the three brothers or simply the three. Not one of Nostradamus' prophecies has been interpreted succesfully before the event happened.

i think that some of his prophices are too confusing for anyone to understand

i have had some flashes of the future (mostly about my life) and they are clear and i know what will have all but 2 have happened i'm not saying i will be able to tell when the world will end i'm just saying he must have had confusing visions (but i guess for his time a lot of things he would see from around our time would be unknown to him and didn't know how to describe them)

it seems like the world is going to end soon

going on what has been said here and what i have heard from other people i give the world as we know it a max of 10 years before it's gone

given the fact that some religious (mostly christians) have been saying that signs of god coming are appearing and on that day supposidly all of man kind shall be judged (this is possible but without a god if you want more info on it feel free to send me a message on aim but please keep an open mind if you choose to talk to me)
