Here's the current list:
1. Nuclear war, WW3
2. Meteor/asteroid impact
3. Virus
4. Collision with other heavenly body
5. Sun becoming red giant
6. Nanotechnology disaster
7. Aliens coming and killing us all
8. God getting angry and smiting all of us
9. Collision with the Andromeda cluster
10. Getting sucked up in a Black Hole
11. The universe being "not real"
12. The moon leaving us
13. Problems with AI
14. Big solar storm
15. Magnetic reversal
I think that's all sofar, lets here some more people! 15 doomsday scenarios, 15 ways to all die, each different from the other. The more the better.

If we were to take there spaceships and fly to there planet wed have to guess pretty well as to see which planet there on. I'd just fly it to the spaceship to mars like weve been trying to with our space shuttles. And start over on mars. But we couldnt do that atleast for another 1000 years.

I dont know about the time machine thingy, depends on whether just the time machine moves through time or creates a vortex through which anything can go. And moving through time is something different then moving through space. Displacement of all the debris from the time of the dinosaurs is unlikely, not all the debris would go through the vortex.
But I suppose you could say that some moron would travel to the point at which all life began and fuck it all up. But would we be here then?

As I said before, that would not destroy all, just a lot. The icecaps melting will cover most of the world with water, but small pieces of land would remain with some survivors. We're looking for complete destruction of the human race, not just a big part but all of it.

OoOoOo i read in the newspaper that one way for everyone to be killed is if those little microscopic extrememly clever robots are invented for fixing people's wounds and stuff but the robots learn how to build other robots and they multiply really fast and because they're so small noone will be able to find them and kill them and they will eat everyone on the planet so eventually the earth will have a big layer of what looks like dust.
Has that been mentioned?

Yup, been mentioned. But, how would they be able to replicate without taking materials from other mahcines or buildings or whatever. Surely wherever there was unusually high rate of corrosion, you would know that there were nanobots, and you could set off an EMP or whatever.

That can be measured, determine the mass of the ice caps. It is unlikely that ALL land would be covered, you really think that even the mountains would be covered by the water? A lot of land would be lost, but just not all. And a few survivors would remain, not many, but a few. And the Earth surface is quite big, the water would be divided equally everywhere.

or little by little the ozone layer desapearing completely, cauing the UV rays to burn everybody?
I can't really think of anything original right now, maybe later.

I'm not saying it will be pleasant or easy. But there will be a few survivors, besides that, plateaus exist. Flat pieces of land on high altitude.
It only counts as doomsday scenario if it leads to the destruction of all humans.

Well yes, because of pollution the ozon layer could be destroyed.

Here's another idea:
Humans begin to 'de-evolve' because of our luxurious lifestyles. Eventually, people can no longer live or function properly without the use of technology. Then, our Earth begins to run out of coal and oil, and noone has prepared a back-up source for electricity. Then, slowly and miserably, humans begin to drop dead because they've forgotten how to eat, breath and think without using devices and/or computers.

yea it doesnt matter cuz man kind wont be around to see the end of the world. all these scenerios are like, billions of years in the future. even the dinosaurs were only around for like, 400 million years. not even HALF of a billion. plus man kind is getting waaaay to powerful. i mean seriously if for some strange reason like a million crazy people got together in a secret lab, in theory, they could develop enough nuclear weapons 'n' shit to like kill 99 percent of the worlds population. like if you think in terms of how fast we are evolving and how fast technology is advancing, id be surprised if man kind survives for another million years.

At the current rate of social and moral decomposition among humanity, I'd say that our current way of living will endure for no longer than fifty- to seventy-five years from the present day.

I know not about the corrosion, or emp but we are talking small they wouldn't need parts to reproduce just elements. Theres alot of sand and metal in the world. This is of course just like everything else way off and conjecture what we know as true now won't be in the future, all is possible.

Icecaps thing: not even half the world would be covered. Most people would survive, just be left homeless. The only real damage to people would be crops in low-lying areas.

The Earth will end when all the leaders of the nations die(including the Pope), and planes(and space shuttles)and space stations and satilettes fall out of the sky and big buildings blow up and all kinds of shit. Oh yeah and when the NEW pope rapes some children and tells all the other pedophile priests to do the same. Blah Blah.
