so what's the news on compression etc?

i got stuck at work 3 hours later then expected. anyone that follows hockey, knows the importance of tonights game against the flames and the avalanche. i've had tickets for almost 2 months now and i have to leave for the game now.

i can't put the menu in now, thus the submission can't enter the portal today.

that's fine by me.
i don't want any rushing.

I really thought I could've done more. (We might be able to squeeze it into the 6 mb range if funguy find stuff to optimize, but doing the rest would probably only yield like 200 kb at the most.

i can tom'follery around with my last part, not a problem. you look at the preloader for optimizing? emailer back whenever your done with it so i can finish this off.

p.s. silly flames lost. :( thats okay, the avalanche aren't going to win every game left in the season. cause i know you guys care about hockey :)

tinkered with the preloader. it only went down to 7.34 mb. how should I get the thing back to you.

pending on whether im playing baseball today. It's about 30 degrees out and it might snow so I think there wil be a good chance i can do that.

errg. Guys I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon and won't be back till I believe saturday night.
So we can submit it today, or sunday.

I can get the collab file to funguy at around 8:00 EST, funguy could go for a a quick put-in with the menu and submit it.

Also Funguy did you ever give anythought to a a replay button. Like maybe have a rollover on the sign coming out of the bunny from "thanks for watching" to "Replay?"

there is going to be a replay button, i just didn't put it in yet. its all part of the "menu system" (insert evil laughter)

i just bought a 21 inch monitor. go me.

The other thing is, better make sure whoever is submitting it has all the portal buddies set up.

meebs already told me he he has me. Does he have you? I think he has funguy too, so whoever's the last co-author we have to set up.

double post. Oh yeah. again guys we have another issue. Unless we want to wait SOME MORE, this has to be released on Sunday or without me (which I have no real problem with) seeing as it's the only day both meebs and me are home at the same time during our spring break.

Hey, long since i posted last time. I just wanted to say that i think its really good that you are FINALLY (after being close like five times) submitting. I wont be home to vote but i can live with that.

Also, since i want to brag, i have had two front pages since thursday. First front pages ive ever got (and both movies are hardly good and very old xD).

Okay guys.... Ehm, I dont know how to compress, i am kinda a newb to flash, i CAN animate but i dont know the tricks of compressing and optimizing sounds/animation etc.
And i agree with Ekublai, Please dont get on with: "we CAN submit today or tommorrow, (next day) We can better submit tomorrow or today" and so on...
And ehm... Did i already submit my 100 by 100 avatar thingy? oh yeah i did, sorry.

Hope to see ou guys soon and see the collab too. (Will check this thread everyday)
