Up until a few months ago I had 6 cats. Two of the eldest passed away :/ They were great cats. I now have four, all fairly young. I also own two potbellied pigs. One is 12, one is 9 months. I love them both. Today they had a photo shoot for an article for a local magazine.
Since this thread seems sort of dead, I'll tell a story! (Everyone loves stories, right guys?...guys...right?)
This happened a few months ago, it was hilarious. My oldest pig was very hungry. She let us show it by banging her food bowl against the wall. She kept on doing it over and over again. I ignored her, I was busy with homework and I don't want her reaching 130 pounds. (she's 125). She walked over to the table I was working at, groaning. I stood up to reach over and pet her. While I got up I moved my arm off the table and it knocked my folder off. I leaned over to grab it when she started eating the folder! I needed this for my history project. I tried to grab it, and eventually I got it back (she left bite marks). I couldn't understand why she would want to eat my folder.
An hour later I went upstairs to print out some papersI had been working on. They printed. We had just gotten a new ink cartridge, so the papers were extremely wet and unusually heavy when I picked them up. I brought them downstairs for a reason I can't remember. My pig was still down there. She walked over to me still groaning. She then started eating my papers! I couldn't believe it! The one thing I knew was that she was getting ink all over her snout, so I rushed over to the paper towels to wipe her snout off (assuming ink could harm her). As I bent over to wipe her snout off, she starting eating the paper towels too! I tried wiping the ink off her snout with five paper towels, which she all ate. I just gave up. After that she tried to eat my three ring binder. This was crazy!
If any of you are wondering if pigs will eat anything in sight, no, they don't normally. The only thing they will eat that is not food or grass is soap or toothpaste. Anyway, tell me what you think of my story.
