For those that haven't seen the video, take a look. Stephen Colbert was asked to give the keynote at the White House Correspondents Dinner (basically an annual event for the government and press). It took some amazing courage to say what he did in front of that audience. One of the funniest things I've seen in a while.

Ah yes, I watched that on Cspan, probably the only time I will ever watch it again. He said alot of stuff that was really funny, just not much laughing. I bet alot of people are pissed of right now though.

I love how the audience tried really hard not to laugh. I guess they didnt want to alienate themselves.

That was definitely one of the funniest things I've seen. I was just flipping through channels and saw Colbert on C-SPAN, and watched the entire thing, laughing endlessly. Thanks for posting the link.

I used to not like Stephen Colbert, but now he's my one and only God. His balls are huge. He's not afraid to tell the painful truth to a large room filled with grumpy old douchebags. That man gives me hope for the future. A true American!

Their was a White House Correspondants Dinner recently. Comedians came and made fun of Bush. Colbert wasn't even the funniest one their, they had a George Book impersonator their who made fun of him.
As for the topic
It didn't take courage to say what he said, that was the whole purpose of why he was invited. Funny? Yes. Couragatious? Not so much.
Though the video thing with the old, lady reporter was funny.

And Colbert?
Wow... how can walk with balls that big?

I think Steven Colbert is one of the most brilliant pundits alive. He's far wittier and more intelligent than John Stewart, easily.
Plus, he does like 3 voices on Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law, what's not to love?
Think you're pretty clever...

You dont get it do you? They could have him killed! (It would'nt be the first) He could lose his job! Thats why people were afraid of doing that! If you did that you would be taken out back and shot.
Though the video thing with the old, lady reporter was funny.
Yes it was.

Funny, stupid, as long as someone made fun of Bush in front of everyone, I'm happy.

I agree but he doesn't need someone to do that. He is just a walking joke. I keep waking up hoping that the last 6 years were some kind of dream or really long april fools joke. I could actualy see it in 2008, it will be bush on T.V. and ashton kutcher pops out "You have all been punk'd for 8 years!"

if he dies at all in a few days/weeks, it was Bush's administration wacking him.
