Yeah, they sponser quite a lot of stuff. All the pico day stuff is technically sponsered, and any brilliant animation or game they would sponser, although they don't openly state that they do. David Firth is NG sponsered, hence the newgrounds preloaders he now makes for his works.

And i've watched it (again). My favourite parts are:
- The 3d smoke chase
- The swallowing fairy (with the detail of Bitey's mouth)
- The rise above the forest
- The smoke alpha effect on some parts (is it a filter, it runs too fast to be a filter?)

If its sponsored by ng you should have waited for the official ng release to be politically correct. I'm sure Adam has his reasons for stalling on ng's release and that should be respected. As hard as it is.... try to refrain yourself from ejaculating prematurely and plugging it prematurely. Just relax and let it arrive to ng on his schedule like its supposed to.

Am I the only one who got tired of Brackenwood after the first episode or so? Stunning visuals, yes, I'm willing to admit that. However they lack a plot, really, and are generally quite boring to watch (unless you are really intrigued by the graphics). This last one in particular was just a long chase sequence and I fail to see the interesting part in that. It must have been a real bore to make.

I don't have anything against Adam Philips, not at all. Just think about what a brilliant movie he could make if more effort was placed on plot. I think it's time to move on from Brackenwood.

I disagree, Adam Phillips has created an entire world with many characters with a lot of backstory that is interesting in the way the world works.

True, there isn't much in conflict and resolve when you are talking about plot, but i still find it facisnating reading about the new characters he creates, and reading more about them and seeing how he can stunningly produce it.

As far as Adam Phillips quitting brackenwood, it's not going to happen soon, or at all. It's a dream project he has been dying to work on for ages that has much thought to it, and I don't see him stopping until it gets on TV.

Well this is a good example of the variety of likes and dislikes of many users that come here.. i personally hate fantasy themed flash movies so i actually am not fond of the brackenwood series , but in this one i 'liked' the uncommitted plot. I liked that i didnt have to 'learn' (i hate that word) about this whole new world to understand it. It just let me appreciate the animation as a medium.

Is it the next nobel peace prize winner... probably not. But meh.

Anyways the point is lets not turn this into a flame war because mr. asvegren didnt like it. He's perfectly entitled to and im sure Adam and all animators should know that you'll never win everyone over. As long as you enjoyed making it then its all good.

Yep it's my fave thing he's done. i love that bit when the water comes flying over the land and it all starts to shake.

Asvergen(SP), you said "It just seemed to be one big chase movie whats good about that" (or smething simillar), lots of real movies have this and simillar as there selling point.

Something about it was a bit of a let down compared to his other movies, but i don't know what...

The letdown for me is that it is at night, in his over movies everything is bright, and seems so big and shiny, this one was abit dull-ish

I found his animation to be very choppy in his first two episodes.. this one he just feels more comfortable with flash as an animation tool and therefore i just enjoy it more from an animators perspective.

Awesome graphics, as usual. The only bad thing I noticed about the graphics was the water, which I could probably do better and im not amazing at Flash. Maybe he just got lazy :P

anyway yeah, I totally disagree with the people saying that its score is stupid. Why the hell WOULDNT you give it a 5? The graphics are some of the best (if not THE best) on NG, the sound is fantastic, the style totally unique, animation perfect, and it is entertaining.
