Virgil, because he didn't turn into a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle wannabe like Dante did in the Third game.

Are you talking about Dante's Divine Comedy?
Virgil is Dante's guide through Hell, and Purgatory. (I don't know about Paradise... if Virgil is in Hell, he can't go to heaven... any else knows?)

When i read this... i assumed it was about The Divine Comedy, and then i read the following posts so now im confused.
The book, Dante is probably my favourite, he's such a pussy, but he does get to the end eventually. It's a really different book to read, but im glad the people who told me to read it did, because it's an awesome book.
Wrestling, fuck if i care, but virgil is black, so i pick him.

You mean from the Divine Comedies.
Dante, he shows what humans can achieve. At first he feels sorry for the dammed and thier souls but he eventually realizes that they did this to themselves.

I beleive Virgil only takes him to the end of hell, and then passes him on to Beatrice, who then takes him onward to the Lord almighty.

Wrong SCD, Virgil takes Dante untill the end of Purgatory then he passes him off to Beatrice.
