Well, I didn't get sponsored, doesn't matter, guess I'll have to really fill my next game up.

Imma enter it in the contest anyway, just for fun :).

AG has the best contests ever! The payments are so quick and Dan is so helpful and friendly. Its a great place to work with and there is nothing bad about the way they do stuff. =D

ohhhhhh armorgames, if it wasn't for you I'd have to get an actual summer job ;) Seriously, they pay great, pay quickly and are always generous and friendly.

Yes i agree with LonLonRanch and i was thinking the same thing. I thought i would go for a bit of money like maybe a couple 100 but as of NOW i have already won 800$ and for now I am in first place for the grand prize! 3900$ *drools*

just got my first check for best of july! took a week, since i live in canada, but i couldnt be happier. I also got two armorgames stickers that are awesome, coz they say armorgames, and um....have pictures and stuff.

So if ur not doing it for the money...do it for the stickers and send the money to me :P

Now to be serious once more, yes Dan is VERY friendly person and the armorgames contest is soo cool it will prob live for more than just the four times its already been made!

the top ten prizes are based on NG score, and so, the highest NG score that they have locked (meaning the score the game has after one week after uploading onto NG) is the score that is taken into account for the top ten. If there is a tie in score, the game with more views gets the higher prize!

Right now im proud to say the highest score to beat to get first prize is 4.19 for Streamline (http://newgrounds.com/portal/view/328399) a game that i made :D So watch out! Im keeping my eye on the first place prize but still wish a good luck to all who want to enter.

Also if you enter the contest and your game is considered good by their standards, your game will also be posted on their site and will get even more views (so you get to be more popular :D).

Well i recieved mine in the same envelope as my payment...so i guess u get them when you win something in the contest and not only get sponsered.

I've never posted in this thread beofre, so here i am....

If i were to enter a game (probally not this time but by the next comp i should be finished), because of the way my preloader links in with my menu, putting the armorgames logo thing in between them would just gay everything up... so where else could it go? or could i leave it out maybe?

about the tutorial contest, that's true

Quick question: are we allowed to make customised Armor Games logos for our preloaders, as long as they still say Armor Games and there's still links and stuff?

If I have recreated the Armor Games logo very closely, but with a color scheme and design style (the tower shield and armorgames font are unchanged except in color) that more closely matches my game. Would you like me to email the new preloader beforehand to make sure it is acceptable? Or I could perhaps post it here?
