What does everyone think of these new submissions?
This was one of the best days in my life, the best I've experienced on Newgrounds. Many great submissions from many great people came through, plus tons of free whistle, blam, and protection points. I loved this day, and every aspect of it. What wasn't good about this day? I loved the experience I had from Pico Day, and I cannot wait for it in 2007. Pico Day RULES!!
The Pico Day Anthem was by far the best Pico Day submission. Too bad it didn't get front page. :(
There were many (Surprisingly) good submissions.
Then again, being a big thing (and the $2,000 prize didn't hurt), a lot of accomplished artists tried their hands at this.
Oh well, Happy Pico day.

Welllll, yeah, but you have to realize that Pico's School was the genesis of it all. Without that, who knows what would have become of Newgrounds. I think it got its high score out of pure respect.

Pico Day was such a great day yesterday, although I expected the portal to be more active than it was. Oh well, there's always today for more portal activitiy.
Wow, why isn't the PICO DAY anthem on the front page OR on the Pico Day Collection? Does one of the higher-ups on Newgrounds not like the movie for something? It's very odd, that's all I'm saying. :P
The Pico Day Anthem was Horrific.
Everyone seems to love it. It really wasn't good. At all.
The author is completely tone death, it was a horror to listen to. The animation wasn't even that great. He over-used blending effects and unnecessary layering in the flash.
Basicly, it was just a Teletubby episode - with Pico and NG featured. Either that, or it was an NG Barney & Friends episode.
Vomit.

Pico Day really was a haven for extraordinary flash...
I think we should do that more often, but with other stuff maybe? I don't have any ideas actually. Just thought it would be cool. It puts the NG TT to shame! Months of preparation... for one awesome day of awesome flashes !

It was really well done, I liked it.
Alot of high quality submissions missed out on awards aswell. But it shouldn't always be about the awards, although it is nice to have something to show for your achievements.

Wow yesterday was so awesome! I have never seen so many amazing submissions cram into one day like that! Woot for Pico Day 2006 and woot for Tom's birthday.
All these submissions in the top 5 defintiely deserve it because there were so many that could be 1st on any other day. I liked Pico vs Convict quite a bit, infact it may be my favourite submission of the day, except for the ending. I like seeing Pico pwn harder than that :P.
Pico's School was great to play again, i remember playing it a while back, probably 2 or 3 years when i first heard of this site. Its still great. Penillian Battle was awesome too, just flat out picopwnage. The anthem was something very different, but it was still very cool and catchy too! Pico Therapy....intensely cool.

ya but i have realized that they are ALL pico flashes. so i guess no one was orriginal yesterday.
It did get frontpage.
I didn't like it that much though...The music was good and the animation was really good but the song was annoying as hell, and the harmonies were...wrong...lol
But it was still deserving of frontpage...
