Happy belated Birthday, Tom, and congrats on the first Pico Day being such a huge success! I was amazed at both the quality and quantity of the excellent flash submitted today, kudos to all the artists!

Ya it was just awesome yesterday, i was almost overwhelmed with all the fantastic submissions. Its a shame my internet was down the whole day up until about 8:30pm. But i still got time in to watch stuff and have a good time.

BTW Happy Birthday Tom!

And where is everyone getting these sweet Pico Sigs, i want one :P.

Good thing there was no pressure to get that game done otherwise it might not have been submitted so early (11:58pm) :D

Yes I have noticed that too.

Funny situation, Mindchamber. Funny, no winnings this time.

Hey Tom are you goint to showcase all the submissions feautured in the Pico Collection in the Frontpage or just the current ones?

I think that would be cool because we all spent a few days (the winners spent a few weeks) making them.
And yes it was a special occasion.

Tom said so:

To respond to people who are wondering what the surprise is...

I know lots of people were disappointed that it wasn't bigger and better, but check out Resident Pico. I also finally released Pico's School to the Portal, and fixed it to be playable on faster computers (it was impossible before).

There is another Pico game on the way featuring artwork by Mindchamber, but I didn't program it. It won't be part of the contest judging since it has the unfair advantage of MC's art. :) I'm HOPING it will make it in time for Pico Day!

Am I the only one who thinks Pico's School was better when it was really fast? I liked the breakneck pace, it added challenge and now it's too easy (altough the ninja with night-vision is still as hard as ever). Maybe Tom can add in difficulty settings and one would be the old 24fps, so I could get back to playing (and beating) Pico's school the way I'm used to.
