pronouncing Pico?

I've always said it like "Pee Co" but i've noticed a lot of the flashes have been saying "Pic O"

Have i been pronouncing it wrong all these years or do some of the best flashes have a minor but very noticeable flaw.

I've always said it like 'pea-coh.' I might say it like 'Pick-o' if Pico was spelled with a k. But I think the best way to pronounce it would be 'pea-coh.' The hard C in the way the authors pronounce the name in flashes is actually starting to get annoying. :\
