There is no logic in heaven.

How could your actions, depeding on a lifetime of 80 years, 50, hell sometimes 10, 5, or 3 or less years, warrent a person a happy lifetime of ETERNITY (infinity years).

Why would someones actions for such a short amount of time in the grand scheme of things determine where they will exist for an infinative multiplication of that number of time?

Some things are too strange for anyone on Earth to comprehend.

I agree. I've come to the conclusion that nature is everything, we are only better than other animals because we are super intelligent.
Plus if heaven is so perfect and great, why is religion crappy and unfun.

-You- need to realize we are -not- super intelligent, and to get it into your head that some churches aren't always dull and boring. Some churches make things fun. Either join a different church, or start hoping God will forgive your damned soul. Eh?

And when does God have to please in his teaching of his own self? Don't make me go evangelistic on your a--

Well you don't have it quite right. Supposedly it doesn't really matter what you do on Earth, provided that before you die, you ask for forgiveness from the Lord almighty. And the way I always figured it, what you do might seem insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but that is not the point. They say you should be comparing what you do with what you have. So if you are born with nothing but still manage to do a lot of good stuff, then you are a good person. If you have everything and do good stuff, but not much more than the guy with nothing, then even though he did more, when you compare him with the guy with nothing, the guy with nothing is greater. Sorry if I seem all religious about this, but I have the word Templar in my name for a reason. I just hope that there is a heaven and that when I go there, I get to be an archangle... with a big ass flaming sword.

Furthermore, take a baby that is 10 months old.. it dies due to a disease. At that point in its life.. it didn't understand ANYTHING that was going on.

So it is supposed to magically go to heaven and be happy for all eternity? How is it supposed to understand anything that is going on around it?

The afterlife of one man's thought will never be true, untill the day that man walks forward to the fact of life after death.

That is where baptisim comes in. It pretty much covers the child until it understands what is going on, which has been deemed at confirmation. And if it did anything sinful before death without asking for forgiveness, then it would not be a sin on the child, but a sin on the congregation it was baptized in front of for they took the oath to raise the child in the name of God. So really, in the eyes of the church, any bad stuff you did before you were confirmed by the church or before you went through your first communion, it might of been you sinning, but it was the congregation's fault...

I smell LOOPHOLE!

And for those who don't believe in a soul and stuff like that, I forgot where I read this, but it has been found that any human regardless of how they die, when death finally comes to them, if you were to measure their weight during death, you will notice that they lose 6 grams instantly on the moment of death. I am gonna go google that for more info, but I think that's right. Anyone care to argue that? Apparently one's life or soul might actually have mass.

I like to make my own guesses on religion, note that these are ideas NOT beliefs. I respect all religions knowing that any of them could be the "right" one. You can't prove religion wrong, and at the same time you can't prove religion right.

If you can't find a door, make one. Because it certainly won't fucking make itself.

What i dont understand is why you can redeem yourself by climbing into a box with some old guy and telling him your sins (a.k.a. a confessional)

Well, I am not Catholic so don't kill me if I am wrong, but I think it is because in the Catholic religion, once ordained, you are concidered a man of God, who then has permission to act as a messenger of God. So by telling the priest in a confessional your sins, you (supposedly) tell God you sins, and when the Priest forgives you, so does God.

hehe, I never really got that... if you are going to tell someone your sins, then you should take it up to whatever god you worship; not the preists.

i dont believe in hell i think that if god loved us enough to create us then he would not force us to live in torture for eternity i believe though that it will take longer for a sinful soul to reach heaven

the whole idea about heavan is that if you do good in life then you would be rewarded because you ignored the temtations in "real" life, the sins, and have rejected satan. Heaven is a place where we can finally enjoy true peace and quiet and where we get closer to god. Well its only an idea so i have no clue if its true. Im just nice cuz i want to be and not because i will be rewarded in the long run when i die(and according to my high blood presure wont be long)

If not heaven I believe in God. There has been a lot of shit that happened that gave me proof of his existence. When I asked if he will do something to help me and to give me proof. It was something unlikely, that when I finished praying I would get a call on my phone. And it happened.
