My chemistry teacher gave me German gummy bears today, and honestly, they own the shit out of every other gummy bear I've had. They were hard, but the fruit taste was way more defined. Anyway, what are your thoughts on foreign candy? Is it better than our candy?

I had some kind of hard candy from Switzerland that was made from tree sap. It was extremely sweet and satisfying.... kind of like my mom.

Well I heard that candy in the UK has WAY more sugar than candy here in the US. Lucky bastards.

Candy is like any other candy. You're just used to the low fat/low sugar substances that are everywhere in America these days yet no one seems to be getting any skinnier.

I like those Japanese candies called white rabits. I laugh at silly people that try to take off the rice paper though.

In the US corn syrup is used in ALL the candies.
In other countries some candies are made with sugar making them WAY MORE DELICOUS.

Yeah it's funny when people out of Japan try to do that and not realize that the paper is edible.

At a recent anime convention I went to I stoked up on a bunch of japanese candy. Japanese gum, pocky, some animal crackers filled with yogurt, crackers filled with chocolate, gummies, and other stuff. It was delicious. I love Japanese candy! XD

Most of our candy are concept candies now adays just something new to draw attention, foreign candy is more about taste, prefecting the balance, not just chocolate chocolate chocolate, its this much of this chocolate, a little of this chocolate, and just a pinch of this chocolate. Theres more time put into balancing it.
Changes scare me, more then ever now!
