Almost all mods have been on here since like 02. The youngest is like 10/04 but they just wanted him because they need a mod for the audio forum. So what Im saying is you will never be a mod. Lol, there's no such thing as a 'reasonable' request, asking for mod power is like asking to be Supreme Dictator of the World. Asking for powers is greedy and not a good start to proving you are Mod character. And please note, Wade probebly doesn't read this all that often since he posted it like, AAAAGES ago. Chances are, there's atleast over two hundred a day either here or via e-mail.

look man, you probably won't get to be a mod just because you act nice and mature. If they desperately need a mod they might choose you, but there's hundreds more newgrounders who also want to be a mod. I'm just saying you shouldn't have any high hopes for becoming a mod anytime soon.

Neither do 99% of the people who've posted in the forums today. But I like the fact people actually aspire to Mod the forums, Means they actually post normal topics and replies, Rather than flaming constantly. I doubt many more Mods will be chosen anytime soon, Unless some others choose to drop out of the race. Although we need International-TimeZoned mods. Like Enoll <3

Good for you! The age of this profile is deceptive. My old one (technically, I guess it can be called an alt) is still floating around. I was on NG before all these changes occurred. It was a big WTF moment to see NG like this, especially since I was like, 11.
If you don't believe me, the old one was named Jakuma, which, in retrospect, is a lot cooler and original than my current one. :3

But seriously, it really irks me when people bash the mods. You all have probably seen those whiney users bitching about the mods because they locked some inane thread of theirs that no one gave a rat's ass about, anyway. I just wanna slap 'em. I know that the mods work damn hard to keep this place from turning into something like 4chan, and thusly, they should get a little respect, in my opinion.
Unfortunately, even if I was asked to be a mod, I don't know if I could do it, as most of my time on NG is done on my iPod Touch. In fact, I'm writing this post on it. A lot of things are incapable of running on it, so that may be a problem.

I personally wouldn't want to be a mod...I heared its alot of responsability and you have to be on the site alot to check things out and make sure everythings' on the up and up. Plus if someone starts ranting at me my first reactionis to rant back and tell em' to fuck off.

plus a friend of mine was a mod (not on this site) and he said that if you lock a topic that is useles and the other mods think its an ok topic conflicts can and do occur...
