Ok, I'm brand new here (if you didn't notice) and I decided to get in to making flash movies. I'm trying out the trial version for flash 8. Today, I decided to check out what I was going to be paying for the flash thing... Oh, my, god... It was like $400 for the basic version and like $700 for the pro. version. Is that what everybody else here paid for it?

You can get an educational version from Ebay for cheaper.

I got mine with a student ID on some website for 250, its the entire thing (well, just a serial code) but it is the complete version.
NOTE: if you're not seeing the image like this in the forums, then your browser is being a jerk. You will need force it to do what you say, or threaten it's family completely.
