Eh. Japan? So it's japanese? It has to be if it's from Japan... Some people on the site can't read Japanese... That might be a problem unless it has a very simple interface. And CAN we ( I more particularly ^_^ ) be guarenteed my PSP won't brick?

u can use bable fish to translate the site or use thelink i provide in first post that has link to babel fish as for the psp bricking it shouldnt, i loaded the jap verion of 2.00 when it 1st came out there so there shouldnt be a problem with 2.7

Jeepers i wouldnt trust it personally...by the way...will it have some kind of cursor? like will it be able to use buttons and such? When i want one of my flashes on my psp i just export it .avi then convert it with Psp Video 9, it comes out PERFECT....but the interactivity would be a major plus

well if sony says it can do thing the regulare flashplayer can then it should have interactivity as for games i realy dont kno the player is embeded into the psps webrowsers software so it can stream flash vids as for things like streaming video at like i dunno maniatv.com im not sure becuse it still might need the windows media streaming codec

if u want a confomation of it workin ill try getting it on tonight or after school tomarrow or u can just wait for someone a psp-vault.com to conferm it work but over all if it runs like the jap ver of 2.00 that i used when it first came out in japn it should work fine because jap and US systems normaly run on the same progaming only in a diffrent laguage when u load it on the psp it should swich to english automaticly at least thats what it did with the 2.00

Thats with the homebrew Flash player that someone from PSPHacks.net made. I haven't heard any complaints about this one (it has only been out a day) except from that it's only Flash 6 and not 8.

Very slow.

I've been experimenting, a 550x400 movie at 24 fps or so, it lags so much you only really see every 5th frame :(

To clear this all up, I just downloaded this firmware update directly to my PSP using the network connect function, of course it's official..Also I imported my PSP from japan making it the 1000 series, and mine works in full english..the problem is the flash player lags like fuck.

Huh? If it lagged then it would be running slow (the real fps would be slow), so you would see every frame but they would advance slowly.

I totally forgotted you'd imported yours :D So is it worth losing the homebrew (all I use is the cheat device and DGEN emu) for this?
