I'm going to buy a 950,000 volt taser which seems pretty high to me. I was just curious if anyone knew how much the human body can take before you die.

A human can take a surprising amount of volts with no after effect, its amps that kill a person. Not sure on the amounts though, Polics normally usr around 500,000 volt tazers if im not mistaken.

Yeah, if I remember rightly, volts don't kill you, but just 1 amp can.

Ehh, you might want to go a little lower. That seems a bit much to me. But, I don't think they would sell tasers that could cause to much damage.

So if it's the amps than how do we convert the 950,000kv to amps?

If hit in the right arteries, 1 volt can kill you.

Let me put it to you like this,1 million volts can power a damn power plant, imagine what 950k can do.

and i don't know how RedPlum can get his hands on a 950k volt taser, that's just insane that is if there is such thing.

if your looking for fun with electricity, purchase one of those electric gum packs online (the ones that shock you if you try to take gum) and see how long you can hold the stick. good times. :D

I doubt very much that one shock from a taser will kill.

I wonder how many it would take for you to lose bowel control? I've always wanted to know.

A good question but, isn't it 950kv or 950,000v? Not 950,000kv?

Ok great so no matter the volts the amperage is regulated making the stun gun unable to be lethal, even if it is 950,000 volts. Correct? Thank you.

Isn't volts the measure for how far a spark of electricity can jump?

I heard that volts don't kill. The amps do.

Doesn't matter how many volts it is, what matters is how many amps. A car battery is only 12 volts but it can kill you. It is the amps that count, I think amps have nothing to do with volts. Amps is how much current runs through a wire in a certain time period. I don't know though but I think that is how it is. I don't really like electronics so I am not sure.

My friend made a teaser from a 9 volt battery, hurts like heck. You can actually kill insects with it, relatively large spiders and beatles. Looks like you will have some fun with your teaser.

Also if they are selling this teaser at a local store, and you don't need a permit then I doubt it will be able to kill people.
