May I join the Blood doonors crew? I'm interested on... the Blood.

The legal age to give blood around here is 17. expect me to repost here on March 4 2008 the day I turn 17. As soon as I turn 17 I will give blood.

Ive been wanting to donate for ages, It's just one of those things that never gets done... :(

I have been thinking about donating blood, but I don't want to because of personal reasons.

Your religion doesn't let you donate blood?

Health benifits of donating blood:

-The removal of a small amount of blood every so often forces your body to replace that blood with new blood, which can transport oxygen more efficiently.

- It is also thought that if you donate blood every so often that your body will be more used to losing blood, meaning if you do happen to lose blood in an accident (or incident), it won't be as big of a shock to your body. Nice to know when you are lying at the bottom of a car wreck.

I wasn't able to donate that day... I friend of mine needed blood because she's going to have a surgery this weekend, so I went today to donate her :)

Belive it or not, I just donated blood yesterday XD

Yeah...it's been a month since my last Donation... I know... But I had to do it... My friend's grandmother needed the blood for a surgery, and since she was in a different hospital than the one I use to go to donate blood, there were no records of my last donation...

I'm trying to find the receipt, but I don't know where did I leave it...

I never donated blood in my life. Not even for 9/11.

I might be donating blood next week.

I dont really do BBS so I dont join or anything, but I do donate blood now and again and I do think its important. A number of the Dragons & Spirits donate blood too and I am trying to get them all to donate. Best of luck with the crew here. Keep up the good work promoting blood donation. I don't know anything about your crew, I just saw the name. Maybe we could make some Flash for World Blood Donor day or something. PM me if your interested, maybe I could do one or my DS Quizzes

This is the best thing on newgrounds! I already donated about 7 and a third ounces while I was in the hospital for two months. I had a tumor. Well there you go. :)

In a couple of months now, I'll be old enough to donate blood. What bother me though, is the amount they drain each time. I don't weigh that much (which has a direct effect on the amount of blood you posess), so I'm kind of afraid to pass out or something.

My blood type is O- , so my question to you is: is it worthwhile to make a donation?

Having needed blood products before, I know and love everyone who is kind enough to do this, maybye I haven't recived any NG users blood maybye I have, all I know is whoever donated saved my life (I have auto-immune hepititis) and I needed a blood transfusion, and I needed Plasma, which is a blood product as well. I think they should accept heroïn addicts as donors. Just imagine, you're bleeding to death on the operation table, spilling fluids all over the floor. Bag after bag passes through your body, through your veins. Once they realise your survival rate has dropped close to zero, they bring out "the bag". The blood flows into your body. Suddenly, you become euphoric, and silently drift away into eternity.

Then again, it might end up with the wrong person...
