Ok, ok here's the deal ladies:
The boards have been innundated with BBS stories recently, and they're pretty popular, as you all want a part in them, or some say in what's going to happen next.
Therefore I have come up with the ultimate idea for a fully interactive BBS story - in the form of a webcomic.
The strips will be in the form of Bootleg Pokeys, if you don't know about Pokey then it might be worth checking out his awesome comics (for easier fun).
How to play:
There won't be any "A, B, C" choices, and I won't just churn out a random story about BBS users. Instead you can:
A) Put yourself up for inclusion in the thread and post an avatar (more info coming up).
B) Make a suggestion for the next strip. When I make a new strip I will select the best suggestion(s) posted since the last strip and use them to determine where the plot will progress next. These should be detailed, but not ridiculously long. And remember, quality/comedy/randomness will determine whether your suggestion is used, so things like "lol, butseks" won't be cropping up all the time (I say not all the time...).
If you post a suggestion then try to include users that have already said they want to join, although other participants are liable to pop up over time as well, so don't worry if you're not a BBS reg - you'll still get a part somewhere.
Finally, avatars. This is in the style of Pokey, so if you want to join the story then make a modification (nothing too extreme - a hat or recolour will do just fine) of the image provided below and post it up. This must be done in only the most basic MS paint. Alternately, if you lack MS paint skills you can always ask another user, or myself to make one to your specifications.
I'll post the first strip once we have some suggestions and participants.
