OK - Here's some additional info that might help explain why this ReFill project is potentially important.

By creating an "Official" NG ReFill and getting a blessing from the admins (which I cannot do until the damn thing is complete) I really want to try to develop some small connection between the NGAP and Propellerhead...

Why you ask??

Because there are several audio contests coming up soon - and if Prophead sees how many poeple are here (read potential customers) then it's possible that an arrangement can be made between NG and Propellerhead to get PH to SPONSOR an audio contest with a free copy of Reason or possibly a few commercial ReFills for the winner...

By doing this, they con reach an interested group of people and possibly gain a few customers ... PH wins...

In addition, providing a NG ReFill to all registered Reason users increases the potential to attract some new talent to the NGAP which can in turn provide higher quality original music for the Flash community... NG wins...

By driving more traffic to the AP, this section of NG might get a bit more attention from the admins and a few of the changes that you've all been begging for might become more likely ... WE win...

Now do you see?

So far THREE people including myself have done anything for this.

So really guys - help out if you can - the only reasons that I can think of for any of you Reason users and loyal AFers to NOT submit a few patches is that you simply don't want to or don't care enough to bother...

And that's pretty sad...

If everyone gets a handful of patches together, we'll have a really decent ReFill... You will all get a copy and you will all be credited !

The ReFill is coming along but it's still got a long way to go before it's something that will keep peoples attention for more than 5 minutes.

I'm now pleading with the NGAF community at large to consider submitting a handful of your best malstrom and subtractor patches.

prep 5 or 10 files , zip 'em up and email 'em to me.

It's unfortunate that there just wasn't enough participation... Sort of like any number of the collabs that start out strong and then die out fast...

Unless there are any objections by any of the people that actually did submit something, then I'll post a link here for all of the rest to download the ReFill in it's current state.

Oh well - so then to the few of you who sent patches (you know who you are) Anyone have a problem with making this file available to the rest of the freeloaders here?

I really want(ed) to help! I just don't know how to make samples/patches...when I use Reason, I just look around for the right patch in the factory presets for ages, and when I find it, I might twist some knobs here and there, but I just don't know how to "create" anything. I'd be totally willing to help if someone told me how to make, oh say--malstrom patches? Easy step by step tutorial would be nice :D, I am actually musically talented, I just never took the time to understand Reason's mixing aspect. I'd love to get into it though, and help you guys out!
