I am economically conservative, which means that I allow Wal-Mart to exist. Economic liberals don't like wal-mart because they are economically liberal. It was once said that "every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, represents, in the final analysis, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, who are cold and are not clothed." You know who said that? A republican.

Well I'm Canadian, not a hick, and pretty damn attractive.

I shop at Wal Mart because I like saving money. Instead of spending 5 bucks for a 12-pack of diet coke, I spend 3. Why pay the extra two bucks?

And don't give me that "run out of business" bullshit, unless you guys know how most of those places are run or at least work in one, you'll understand why they get out of business as soon as competition comes.

wal-mart is a large corparation founded ont he princaple of low prices but has been croupted because the orignal founding of wal-mart stores was low prices and made in america but what would you rather do spend 150 bucks at a little mom and pop gocry store or get the same thing for 85 dollars at wal-mart? its called need of funds to survive and those of us that make 5.50 an hour dont have the kind of money to spend n necitys like that so thats why we shop at walmart

No, PEOPLE do by not buying from local businesses anymore.

No... people just go by what is needed for their own lives. They don't care if it effects them or not and they don't care about the communities. in china they make workers work with no breaks 7 days a week all day. and if the workers in china say the truth of what is happening they get fired.(eventually some spoke out).

Because China doesn't have labor laws, so blame the Chinese government.

But it isn't the Chinese forcing their own people to work, the children are force to work by the big businesses forcing themselves onto the Chinese. Geez you are such a capitalist.

wal-mart has had many fines from: enviromential issues, employe benifits, illegal working conditions, ect. I have learned much of this from the movie:wal-mart: the high cost of low prices. go rent it and watch it.

so, next time you buy something from wal-mart just remember the pain those workers go though because wal-mart took away their old job.

THEY buy from Wal-mart and THEY work for Wal-mart. Don't blame a corporation for following the Golden Rule of capitalism; make money.

It's make money off of any means necessary. And yes you can blame them for it, because it ruins society. It makes the aristocrats have more power over the country. ANd it isn't the people working or buying the stuff, because they have to get by somehow. But there is nothing they can do about it though, because they have such a little voice in decisions made by the wealthy.

Umm, no you didn't. And besides most of his errors are from his use of grammar, not spelling.

Note: Not once have I said Wal-mart is a good thing, but it IS the fault of the people; if they really do dislike Wal-mart, they should be willing to pay a little extra from local retailers. Why, I bet YOU will be buying from there before too long....

Here is a good tibit of advice. Never vote this woman into office of any government position. She makes Hillary Clinton seem more like Theodore Roosevelt as a politician.

I work at Wal-Mart, in the Dairy section.

And it SUCKS.

But it's fair. I get all the benefits that everyone else gets, after a certain period of time (1 Year). I get two paid 15 minute breaks, and an unpaid 1 hour lunch. Nothing about Wal-Mart's working conditions (at least at my store) are bad.

Walmart moved into a town and made a super walmart, they killed all the small bussiness and now everyone in that town works and shops at walmart. Walmart is a horrible store.

If we had a walmart in holland, they would go bankrupt the moment they started, cause nobody likes cheapclothing here. We have some kind of stores (like walmart),
like the wibra, you can buy a pair of trousers for just 3 euro's
and nobody i know dares to enter that store, and only the immigrants and homeless people shop there, (and maybe some whores from the redlight district to buy some cheap undies)

That what happens when capitalizm runs rampant in our moderday society.
