I am currently trying to convert an MP3 to a WAV, but when the conversion is done, the resulting WAV file is 41 MB, whle the MP3 started at 5.3 MB. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with what I am doing?

No, Wavs are normally much smaller and compressed, MP3s sacrifice size for sound quality

"MPEG Layer 3. An new standard for audio compression. It is capable of 10:1 compression with no noticeable loss in quality. MP3s have become a popular way to distribute CD quality music on the Internet."

Lowering an Mp3's file size is usualy a bad idea seeing as it has already been pre-resized before hand. If you would like to i reccomend messing around with the khz to 32'ish =)

Good luck ...Darkaxl - alt account.
