.im trying to get the level of quality like in the Shoo Fly cartoon (#1 of all time according to the thing) how can i get good and ( i use a tablet) and if theres no special way then
is there anyway i can ink into flash a picture on my computer, or a scanned drawn picture ive drawn
are you using the brush tool or the line tool?
try tracing some images from google, so for example, randomly search for something, copy an image of it, and draw over it in flash. then, delete the picture and look at your outlines.
im using the brush tool and useing a pen and tablet to draw... does that answer your question right?
oops somehow didnt see the 2nd part of ur post. ya thats what im trying. im even starting with the eye and then drawing a face and then nose and mouth.... all seperate but its really really hard and was j/w how the really good ppl do it

Practice?
Ok, people like Adam Phillips quality would " most of the time" Require proffesional Tutoring. "Unless your naturaly talented or a really quick learner........
Good luck
if your using the paintbrush tool i found that making the lines fast if they are not straight look nice and smooth, if the line isnt right just CTRL + Zthen do it until you like it, and dont draw it in one stroke do multiple strokes

Adam Phillips didn't need tutoring, he did effects animation for disney for like, 10 years and then went straight into flash with no practice in the program.
to be able to draw well in flash, you need to be able to draw well outside of flash.
can you make good drawings on paper?
if yes, then you simply need to get used to using the mouse....or in your case, tablet.
personally I'd sugest using the paintbrush tool.
The line tool is nice, but makes things look far too smooth and perfect.
whereas the paintbrush tool is squiggly like a deranged pen.
