im pretty sure if this will work. if it wont, tell me. you make a flash game and burn the .swf or .exe file or whatever onto a DVD. pop it into a ps2 or DVD player and it might work. i didn' try it.

no this wont work, how would the ps2 know that right on the d pad is the right key on a computer, you would have to change the whole games controll into a ps2 sort of way. Not sure how this is done though. But blow a couple of grand on the software and you probably could.

lol... DVD's dont fit in a PSP.
Anyway, the problem isnt getting the flash file there, its playing it. PSP currently doesnt have a Flash player.
Its kinda like on your comp if you didnt have flash player. you could download Flashes, just not watch them until you got the flash player.

Silly Mogly =D He was talking about the PS2 :P However, there is an unofficial Flash Player fo PSP somewhere. Liam (or Kirk) made a thread about it somewhere...
And, topic starter, no, it wouldn't work.

You can't even spell 'retard' right. Not only that, but this was already discussed. Next time just stay quiet.
On a seperate note, it would be cool (and totally uselses) idea to hack a PS2 and give it a Flash player. I remember reading about a DS getting Linux... so I suppose getting some sort of computer software on other consoles isn't 100% impossible...

This is how we got Ball Revamped on the Xbox360... however, we could not go public with it, because it requires installing some software that is incredibly buggy, so the project had to die... the xbox also had to be modded somehow. It just wasn't a good idea in the end, and people do not want to install wierd software just to play a flash game they could be playing online.

You mean to say that all this time companies were spending money on costly PS2 dev kits from Sony, when all they had to do was burn an .exe file onto a DVD?
Seriously man, that's amazing. You should work for Sony.

the ps2 wouldn't recognize exe or swf as a readable format.

You need a PS2 Developer's Kit and would have to make the game in C++ or something. If you make a SWF into an EXE file it is still a SWF, just the EXE makes it run as a stand alone Flash player.
