However, if they leave it as "Blak," people are fooled into thinking it's a separate word, since they can't relate it to the color if the "c" is missing.
And regardless of what it tastes like, the only thing that matters to me is the bottle it comes in. It looks like the sort of thing you would see a pseudo-intellectual drinking at Starbucks, then he looks out the window and chuckles to himself at a commoner drinking regular Coke. It even comes with a bottlecap.
