I am looking for artists to draw (scenery, items, characters, etc.) in an online flash based RPG. Some flash animating experience would be nice. It will be a on-going project that will yield rewards. Please drop me a line if your interested.

would you need anybody to help with storyline, because I would be glad to do that,
otherwise I could probably make items and scenery.

I would love to help out, I don't have much animating experience, but you could drop the unwanted stuff on me, it would be good for practice :)

The first part was a joke. But i'm sure that that is the kind of stuff that this guy is going to be receiving.

And, no, I am not a retard. The topic starter just came in here, typed "Make online flash game with me. kthxbai".

If you are even considering undertaking a project like this you need more information. What specifically would this job involve? What kind of requirements are there? What kind of rewards do I get? etc. etc. etc. Also, provide some examples of your work that prove you are capable of coding an online game.

If you are serious about this, you should make a whole new first post in this thread including the things that I have just asked and any others that you think people might want to know.

If you're referring to me, i'm just telling him what he needs to do. I may have done it in a slightly brash way, but hey, if he's going to come in here with a serious request like that and a first post as crap as BobRicci, he deserves every bit of criticism he gets to improve his request. :P

If you read my other posts, i'll never hesitate to help someone if they're willing to listen or learn.

First you need to learn that putting your age as 79 isn't big, clever, witty, original or funny, then you can attempt the big boy stuff. :P

Ok... right.

Nick, you have to show some respect, he know's what he's talking about. If you did a little research on his profile you'd fine he's quite the scripter. He's also 20, and by his profile, I believe him.

Now, at John N.

We have quite a lot of decent artists around NG forums. How much much work is involved, and what type of rpg are you looking for (medevil, futuristic, zombie, underwater :P).
Also, will there be a pay involved?
I'd take a step back on this one, my artwork isn't up to par for this.

Can you prove that you really have the skills to make an online game? It's pretty tough.

I did show respect. My only non-respectful post was when I was pretending to be a noob replier, that wasn't directed at the topic starter, just at the nature of his post he was going to get that kind of thing. I don't care about his skill, come in here with a first post like that, and you're bound to get noob repliers like my impression :P

And yes, I did check his profile and saw some of his games, then replied with an incredibly long and thoughtful post on what he needed to get the best out of this project. I never questioned his ability. I just told him that with a post like that, he wasn't going to get any professional response from anyone interested.

If you are going to make a post like this, you need to make it serious and informative. He should provide examples, he shouldn't need to make people like me and you delve into his profile.

I don't care if Tom Fulp came in here and made this thread. No matter your ability or anything else, you need more detail if you want some decent response.
