I don't get it???Mean reviews.

Well I must say that when I first saw shoo fly I was in shock I watched it maybe 20 times before I moved on its just so amazing! And it also has the highest score to go with its awsomness, but latly its score is slowly but surely going down, and reviewers are dishing out 4s and heck I even saw someone give it a 0. And one person mentioned shoo flys being in first, so they gave it a 4 in the review. Do people just start flaming newgrounds best flashes because of jealousy or something. I keep fiving it every day to try and keep its good score but no matter there are mean people giving it 0s. This really isn't fair. People I find get very mean about the flash that gets to number 1, like when murloc rpg was number one, people starting dishing out disses in the reviews and started to lower its score. Do the users think they need to bring every submission down into the 4.20s cuz murloc was getting like 4.60s and now look where its at(still good score but should be better) .

I guess what I'm asking is, what is the perfect flash? I mean can you actually top shoo fly's animation and if so will it be the best? And for how long? Is achieving a perfect 5/5 impossible or something I mean does someone have to make a flash that blows everyones mind?

It just seems like an unreachable thing because there are people who just start to hate the best because they aren't!

It's good the first time you see it, but gets very boring. Not like some animations like Prowlies at the River, E-Baum's world . com, Maxwell edison's story or more that I never get bored of them.

I personally vot 2 every day on Shoo Fly, cuz the graphics aren't so bad, but I'm bored of it. Get it off the 1st place!

There are cases that were "PHASES" e.g Ultimate showdown. It was good at the start but then the music got annoying and the animation was found to be sloppy. Things change...get over it.

Um.. this topic is kind of dumb. Asking what the perfect flash is, is like asking what the perfect kind of music is.

Everyone has different tastes and ideas of whats 'good'.
I personally like the raw style MarcM uses, to me thats 'good' and better than Shoo fly.
I find it more entertaining, expressive, and refreshing.

I dont think you have to make topics defending movies.. we artists know that youll have people who like it and some who dont. Comes with the territory, no need to get emo about it.

Yeah, I don't see why Adam Phillips keeps getting firsts. It's the graphics that are good. The plots suck.

I suppose your correct about that(glad ultimate showdown is off frontpage lol) about flashes having phases, but voting 2 every day on something isn't right just because you think it needs to not be in first, let someone top that flash for a new first place I say. Instead of us bringing that flash down, why not actually have a flash worthy enough to overcome the great score of shoo fly and take first away because they actually did top it.

Kinda dis-agree with you there. The plots dont suck...there just pointless. Graphics are sweet but i really think that animations shouldn't be judged on graphics alone...

So your saying that there couldn't possibly be a flash that apeals to everyone? Yes that would be difficult, but here comes one thing voting fairly on the flash, heck maybe you hate anime and you wanna vote 0, well thats not fair because mouskliks worked very hard on that and you should vote on the actual content not personal interest, in the review you can say what you personally thought.

Well, most people are idiots, so if you want your flashes to be consistently popular, they have to appeal to this market. Also, people figure that they can be total jerk-offs on the internet and get away with it (and in most cases, they certainly can).

Some people vote low on good submissions and go around saying they don't like it for the hell of being rebelious and indavidual. You can't get a Flash that appeals to everyone because you can't have a Flash that is every single genre and style all in one. Even if you did it would thereby be its own genre and style, which not everyone would like. People all have different tastes, and they're all trying to get their favourite movies to number 1 at once- sometimes one group starts to win, so the opposing groups try harder and screw everything up again.

Some poeple like awesome eye candy, some people like random slapstick humor, some people like anime or Final Fantasie, some people like horrific realistic violence... It's impossible to pelase everyone. Personally I think the Fallen Angel Teaser should be first, because it has amazing graphics, which supposadly pleases everyone, and horrible violence, which I think represents the Newgrounds community best. Of course many would disagree.

Are you up-set that someone gave a submission a 4? Myabe they didnt like it. Just because you like something doest mean that everyone does. I didnt really find that submission to be entertaining, even though it had good graphics.

Hmmm so I guess by personal taste people may decide, but still like someone has said they vote 2 every day just to bring the score down, thats not a good reason.
But so true, I am like that sometimes(Like I like anime and sometimes violence and sometimes calm depends on my mood) but I just was wondering is it really fair to give a 0 to shoo fly just because you don't like it? Or the fallen angel teaser(has the actual show come out yet for that thing anyway). But sure some people want to rebel and be all "nope daht flash is teh suxor"

I guess because I really like shoo fly and I know that its a good quality flash, and then see people in reviews flam mousekliks when they themselves make half-ass flash.

I never care if somebody dosen't like a movie of mine but when they vote zero just because it isnt as good as prowlies or so they win the daily award or something it pisses me off. I, like everybody else bust my ass to make something good and its just sad when people do things like that.

if people dont want it at #1, and they want to get it off, WHY NOT! The voting system for the most part, is as most fair as it possible could be. Sure people will give it "0's" just to bring it down, but if they want it down, then it should be!!!!!!!!!!
