Anything new in the DEBZ universe?

Fox is making that movie, right?

Does anyone know anything about it? It looks pretty high budget. Which means good.

In the past 2 weeks I've did more work on Vegeta SSJ than I have in like the past YEAR! (Not that hard, trust me.)
Scene 68 has just been finished.
Scene 69 next which is somewhat complex but should be done in a few days if I work on it.
Scene 70 is the start of many longer complex scenes which should be quite tough to do, but will be well worth it!

See! I DO still work on this! lol.

I'm working on a Dragonball animation right now. Got a pen tablet for it, It's a pretty ambitious project. It will look much better than any DBZ flash out there. That is all.

Update on me.

I'm giving up on flash. At least until I get an external hard drive or something so that my computer doesn't crash like a motherfucker. So for now I'm focusing on spriting and comic making.
I'm going to start making a When Marvel and DC Collide/Combine comic, and I'm gonna carry on with my sonic comic. Might make a DBZ comic too.

As soon as I empty out my computer I'll be back on the flash OWNAGE shit

First of all they are Japanese, NOT Chinese.
And you didn't mean "Re-dub" you meant an English dub I'm assuming.
The Japanese voices are still better though. In their own way.

I think this will be canon since it's set shortly after the Majin Buu saga and Toriyama's doing it. This could be the proper follow up to Dragonball Z rather than GT.

So I just got Tenkaichi 3, it's pretty f****** awesome. But how the hell do you change characters in battle? The manual says nothing on it, training did little, and every time I google it I just get some nutjob's review of the Wii version or a "release info/screenshots' thing. There are also zero-to-none FAQs about it. So I tried to look at it as a "battle setting", but then I see that the computer does it at will. So how can I do it?

The only answers I've got were:

L1 + R3 + L3. Didn't work.

And HOLD L2 + Left-Right. Didn't work.

Help.

Brian Drummond does a better evil Vegeta than Christopher Sabot.

Brian Drummond does the voice of Vegeta in the later Canadian Ocean dubs.
He also does the voice of Ryuk in the English dub of Death Note (Because Ocean Group dub it). And very well too.

Despite lacking references to death, and uncut footage, I thought the Canadian dub did alright with the voice acting between Episode 1 and the end of the Ginyu Saga (I don't know if they dubbed any episodes during the Frieza Saga).

I've not seen the Ocean Group dub of the episodes up until the start of the Androids saga.
I do know Brian Drummond was Vegeta for the Funimation dub until the voices changed, possibly due to Brian Drummond leaving Funimation for Ocean Group? And he did the voice of Vegeta for the Ocean Group right until the end.

We got messed around with in the UK. We got the US dub then the Canadian dub...
It went something like this:
From the start of the Saiyan saga to the start of the Androids saga: Funimation dub
From the start of the Androids saga to the end of the Cell saga: Ocean dub
From the start of the "Great Saiyaman" (very start of Majin Buu) saga to the end of the "Fusion" saga: Funimation dub
Then they decided to go back to the beginning of one of the sagas (Not sure if it was back to the start of the Great Saiyaman saga or not) then:
From wherever they went back to to the end of the Kid Buu saga: Ocean dub (They may even have got to the end of the Fusion saga then waited a while again before finishing)

But it was really annoying, it seemed like we were getting like 4 voices changes for some characters.
But then, we did get to see the end of DBZ (on the awesome channel, CNX) before the US on Cartoon Network, but still...

Later Cartoon Network (or was it "Toonami", yes it got it's own channel for a while, probably what replaced CNX :( ...) showed all the movies in order dubbed. Funimation hadn't even finished dubbing all the movies at that time. I didn't watch them, but I seen small bits from the first...
It wasn't even the Ocean dub. I don't know who dubbed it (A dutch company I think) but the voices were AWFUL. THey were just so horrible sounding. They called Piccolo "BIG GREEN"!

There were other awful changes too. Thankfully I can't remember those. I think it was Krillin sounding... oh yeah, like a child or something stupid. They were so bad.

Four voice changes? Damn, that must've been really annoying.

That clip I showed was an example of the Canadian dub that used to air in the US around 1996. I remember watching it when I was a little kid.

Around 1998, this clip here was the last time they used Canadian voice actors for episodes aired in the US (American dub begins at 3:49). It's been like that from there all the way to the end of Kid Buu Saga. They never aired the Canadian dub versions of the Android Saga through Kid Buu.

Onto my opinion of those dubbed episodes that didn't air in the U.S. I've seen clips of them on Youtube. With the exception of Brian Drummond, I personally thought the voice acting was poor, and kinda cliché. The music was pretty lame too. Unlike the Japanese and American music, it didn't really bring a tone of "epic-ness" to the series.

That clip you shown was from the Funi dub actually. That was back when Brian Drummond was still with Funi before he went to the Ocean Group. It was the same one that they shown here as I said.

And yes, the Ocean dubs weren't that great with voices (although a few did sound better than they did in the Funi dub) and the music was shockingly bad. Same music, looped, over and over and over. And used in every episode...

But I think they've got better. Their Death Note dub is very good. As I said, they have Brian Drummond doing Ryuk's voice and they also have the Ocean dub's Teen Gohan voice actor doing the voice of Light.

That looks good bro, but mine already looks much better than that. And my Wacom tablet hasn't even arrived in the mail yet. Most of my stuff is on paper, like the animation sequences and stuff right now. I've got some of the backgrounds started in flash. Finishing up the script and the story board pretty soon. Should be done in a few months, I can keep everyone posted.
