Deffinately The Misfits if they only formed together a couple years before they could of been the first punk band :( besides them I guess NOFX but they kind of remind me of sum41 and I hate them, Rancids a great band, and Sublime has a few punk songs too: Seed, Jailhouse and some others.

And I'd have to say Leftover Crack. You can't get more punk than singing about crucifying cops and racists, shooting up schools, and doing drugs. I love it.

And it's funny how people say Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, etc, are saying that they claim to be punk. Did those bands really come out and say, "WE'RE SO PUNK!" No, they didn't. If you're on MTV, you're not punk. You're not rebelling against anything if you're giving Viacom more money.
