I'm sorry if this is an idiotic question but;
Is it possible to quickly and effeciently quote multiple people in one post? I've seen many people do it before.

Sure, just reply to the first post, copy that whole post message, move on to the next post to reply to, paste the first reply above the next post to reply to, etc. Or you can open up notepad if it's easier to do with.

i use a combination of firefox, and notepad. each post i want quoted, i click the quote click thing with the wheel, or ctrl+click to open it up in a new tab. then i copy and paste all of the quote or what parts from the quote i desire, and add my reply. if you don't use firefox, you could just open up the new quotes one by one, but that's more time consuming :0

There have been suggestions for a reply screen including the already existing replies, and then you should click them to add the quote to your post. I don't know if it has been accepted or if it's ever going to exist.

sure just open a new window with the same post and copy and paste it in if it helps
then to make the text come out like:
this
just put the : and a space
faded
:not faded
