[Theory]
Let's say you gain dominion over the world.
You try everything you ever wanted.
Food : Sure you know what you like and try everything else. Eventually all the novelty wears off or you get fat and decide to stop. Maybe only happy when you eat, never healthy.
Clothes/Objects : If you're into such materialistic things, you realise in the end, clothes are just clothes they do nothing to improve your life or happyness.
Entertainment : Sure you like the jokes of the world's greatest comedians and entertainers. However you realise that they can't always make you happy and that often you are left on your own.
Death : Sure you know you're going to one day die but that would not make you happy. Perhaps you may want to kill off some people you did'nt like. As with everything else, killing people gets old.
Pleasure : How can you get tired of pleasure? Believe me you can. You'll try every thing you wanted to and realise that it you were better off when you did'nt know how all these things felt and it was just left to imagination. You could have all the partners in the world but again it becomes tedious after awhile, all the pleasure turns to chore. Simply because you have done all you ever wanted to.
[Examples]
Just look at the rich and famous, they all end up swapping partners like crazy, getting fat or trying drugs. They are not happy with life.
[The Human Flaw]
It is our nature to always want MORE. No matter what you say, there will always be something you want. In this case where you get it, you realise that even when you have everything you want, it's still not enough. There is a gap in your heart

Yes, now I understand this is all my opinion, and you are entitled to disagree. However I ask that you not bash that which was labelled [Scripture] and [What fills the gap?].
Saying things like " God doesn't exist " or " Religion is crap " is not adressing the main issue of this thread, " happness " and will just prove to show how immature and ignorant you are.
