Most of the hating i've seen has been towards the new seasons, and for that i cant blame a lot that is said, but the first three seasons are gold.

That's a stupid opinion. You can dissect any show and say that it's too simple and to laugh at it's jokes makes you a fool.

South Park = overdramatization of something in the media. kenny dies at some point. Occassionally, opposite of what you expect will happen just because. It's still a funny show.

Seth MacFarlane uses cutaways and he uses them well.

hmmmmm a few things I'd like to say:
You can't say that it is or isn't funny, everyone has their own opinions and different people find different things funny.
some people love family guy for the random flashbacks and some people hate it for it.

also, to the people who say the new seasons aren't as funny, i think they're getting better :p and the south park episode of family guy rocks and doesn't actually say family guy sucks, it just shows everyone thinks of it differently you know... :)
