I have Flash Basic 8 and for some reason, glow tutorials do not include the information I need. Help, please.

convert to mc go to bottom left corner press press glow...

convert to mc or click the text --->filter----->"+"----->glow
then ajust the settings

its in the properties pannel, if you dont haave it enable it in the toolbars option.
btw it only works for flash 8

Right by the properties, press "filter," then press the "+" sign and select, "glow."

well you can't do it then, the only way is to download a free version of flash pro 8 from macromedia. or click here: download flash pro 8 (free)

and how many hours would it take to soften the edges of a god knows what 1024x768 image filled with gradients and lagging factors?
