Petition to ban Hazardous Substance 2003-01-23 14:52:44 Reply

It has been brought to my attention that the usage of a potentialy harmful substance is spreading across the country as we speak. The substances chemical name is Dihydrogen Monoxide. Here are some dangerous facts about it:

1) 100% of all Tumor and Cancer victems have been found to have high levels of the substance in their bodies.
2) An accidental consuming of the substance could couse sudden death.
3) It is a leading cause in land erosion.
4) Every year, it causes millions of dollars in damages to towns over swept by it.
5) It also carries other diseases and harmful substances with it.

I am asking your support to help me have our nations governments stop the usage of this dangerous chemical. It would be best if all of this chemical was isolated and stored safly to prevent such events as earlier mentioned.

Now is the time to act.

How dare you?
It has many uses that FAR outweigh the negatives.
Some of the well-known uses of Dihydrogen Monoxide are:
as a major ingredient in many home-brewed bombs
in cult rituals

by the Church of Scientology on their members and their members' families,

by both the KKK and the NAACP during rallies and marches,

by pedophiles and pornographers

by the clientele at a number of homosexual bath houses in New York City and San Francisco,

historically, in Hitler's death camps in Nazi Germany, and in prisons in Turkey, Serbia, Croatia, Libya, Iraq and Iran,

in World War II prison camps in Japan, and in prisons in China, for various forms of torture,

by the Serbian military as authorized by Slobodan Milosevic in their recent ethnic cleansing campaign,
in animal research laboratories

How can you argue in the face of suck overwhelming evidence against you?
What have you to say, now that you are cowed and beaten?

Maybe you should buy a sarcasm detector. It'd go wild over my last post.

Not only that, but if heated, it can easily scald human flesh and cause third-degree burns!

It's in our drinking fountains, it's in our ham, it's in our rivers... This outbreak must be stopped! It's even used in combat simulations! This stuff is sick!

We use it in our soft drinks and to cover our popcorn, here in Canada. It's a flavorful thing, and small amounts don't hurt very much.
Also, the danger factor makes everything taste so much better. The adrenaline just pumps you right up.
