Jecht and Yevon are just too easy... especially Yevon, the first boss is harder than that piece of crap... or definately something like the thing you fight between Gagazet and Zankarkand.

Penance and Nemesis are great though :).
Especially Penance, seeing as Nemesis is more luck than anything... Penance requires actual tactics, using Aeons and whatever limit breaks are called in FFX just ensure your death.

Theory on what SE is going with the FF series.....

current projects they are on: FF13 and Versus

projects they may start: FF 5 and FF 6 for the DS, they already made 3 and 4, they will continue to 6.
After 6 is made, THEN they will announce FF7 for the PS3 with additional content and even more powerful WEAPONS.

what do you think? it would make sense.

OMFG. I've been wondering what happened to that, I heard a long time ago that there were rumours, but is there any links to specific articles? Official ones would be nice, if there are any.

Yu Yevon is the stupidest final boss ever. Braska's Final Aeon was a real challenge for me when I first played FFX and I wish he was the final boss rather than Yu Yevon. Even without the extreme training, Yu Yevon was still a piece of cake. :(

Yeah, I'm sure they'll announce something about FFV remake soon. FFIV remake was finished a month ago, so I assume they'll soon start thinking about remaking FFV and of course, then go onto remaking FFVI once they've done V. It would be awesome if they remade FFVI onto the DS. The original is amazing, but I'd like to see how Square do with the remake.

what do you think? it would make sense.

Sounds right.

I always seem to breeze throught the end bosses a bit too easy. None of them have been a real challenge yet, but thats probably because i level up quite alot. But SE always does give us some real monsters to keep us occupied, like the weapons, ozma etc....they´re the real hard ones. I still think the final end bosses should be harder though.

I killed Vayne in FFXII in like 5 minutes when i was level 65 :(

Haven't they said specifically that they're not planning on making an FFVII for the PS3?

I'd prefer it if they concentrated on making new games, as I've already played FFVII.

Though, if I were to see the environments in full 3D, a proper FFVII sequel would be a good place to see them in.

Awesome reading skills champ, happen to read past the first few pages and read some of our latest ones? We don't keep up with the numbers anymore.

Curse him then kill him off. Way too fucking easy. Fighting the second form of Seymour was MUCH harder than Yu Yevon.

I've only ever fought against Vayne once and I just managed to beat him. My characters were at about level 55 at that time. Now my characters are at level 80 or so. I could go back to FFXII to see how long I'd take to beat Vayne, but I'd rather start the game over again because I missed out on certain great weapons on my first save. :(

Well, Zombie and then Life. OR if your characters are very strong, then just a single attack and he's dead. Also, I found the third form of Seymour the most difficult out of them all, because I got stuck for a month trying to beat him. >:(

Same here. I didn´t get the Zodiac spear, but it´s still possible to get it, as ReconRebel pointed out. but it´s just extremely hard! I´m still trying to get everything on this save though.

5 hours into IX and loving it!

Vivi's awesome, if you do all of the sidequests throughout the game like I did he's got a pretty interesting background. Other than that, a great mage. But yeah, it's a shame they gave him a pretty crappy initial background.

And yes, he is an awesome mage.

lol, FFIX was great. Bringing back the memories now........i feel like playing it again. Vivi was probably my favourite character in FFIX. The only thing that kind of let it down for me, is that only vivi can use black magic, only garnet/eiko can use white magic and summons etc... It´s like jobs, but you can´t combine more than 1. It was still amazing though.

I'd play on FFIX again, but the problems are that I still need to complete the games I got for Christmas and disc one of FFIX has lots of problems, most especially with FMVs. :(

well, thats good, welcome. As you may or may not already know, a majority of NG is rather sarcastic, rude, and 13 to 15 years of age. The age group 18 to 21 is about 25 %, so if you find NG to be annoying you know why. Well, have fun, there is a lot of stuff here, and enjoy. also, avoid making typos, that isnt good.

I am not going to point it out.

Really annoying moves that give you certain bad status such as curse, doom (I think), and possibly death on two living characters.

Barbie dress up is fun.

That game blew major ass. They should of just left it to FF10 and no remakes or sequels. I would like to see a remake of FF7 for the PS3 though. I've seen the demo trailer of FF7 on the PS3 but I'm confused. :/

I couldn't agree more. They should have Never made a sequel to X-2. At first, I did want to see what happens to Tidus at the end of X and find out on X-2, but looking back at it, they should have just left it at X.

They'll remake it eventually, but not before remaking FFV and VI.

Yeah, they finished remaking IV a while ago. Also, please no more remakes for FFI and II. They've been remade about five times already! >:( They should have spent that time remaking other games.

Yeah, thats true. Especially FFI. They´ve made that for too many consoles now. I bet they still remake it again though in the future.

I'll flip if they remake FFI once more. The GBA version is good enough for me.

I'd like it to be on the DS. I'm not too sure when the next handheld console will be out, but it could be ages until it happens. I bet the next handheld console will be out sometime in 2012.

Hello, I would like to join this fine establishment of Final Fantasy fanboyism/faggotry. While I have yet to complete a single Final Fantasy game (depressing). I am a huge fan.... though my fanboyism is only recent... unless you guys count buying FFX-2 just after you're 14 because you thought it would be awesome/though the chicks were hot because you're a perv. But my true fandom began when I played a ROM of FFVI (known as FFIII because they fucking suck at japanese), and loving all the characters...except for Relm, and Strago. Any way, that's my Final Fantasy fandom history in a paragragh. Look forward to chatting here some more.

2012? I don´t think it´ll take that long to make a new handheld console. Maybe another 2 years max.

I don´t think so. They´re bringing out Crisis Core soon, but it´s not a re-make. I think if they do make a remake it´ll be bigger than PSP.

FFVI was great. Loved the characters, apart from Strago/relm, like you said, but apart from that, i thought the game was amazing. My favourite ´old´ FF game.
