Somebody, please get the reference.
Turn around, smiley. No hugs for you.
The only reason I don't play my copy is because it erased all my saved files, including DMC3, San Andreas, and MGS3(and all completed, with max unlockables, thank you). I simply need to feel like forgiving the game for that incident, and I need a new PS2 memory card.
That'd put me off a game, for sure. Similar thing happened to me with THUG2, but on a lesser scale (Lost my DMC1 save files, but I was only half-way through anyway).
There was that scene in AC(the one with Marlene making him look like a complete pedophile), where he flexes that arm and hand while moving. Plus, he can't really wield a gun with that thing on.
Still doesn't really "use" it.
I loved that cute little scene, too. It was cuter in the Jap version.
And odder than his wearing that for cosmetic effect is(you'll only get this if you've played Dirge of Cerberus) why in the hell would Hojo go to the trouble to get Vincent his clothes? If I were him, I would've just left him in his Turk clothing.
You mean how he awoke in his vampiric clothes during that flashback? I imagine massive inner surgery would require his suit to be torn.
Not to mention spontaneous. Remember her "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" line?
And cute. "Disasterific!"

Meh, the no overworld map on FFX didn't bother me, although I felt that there should've been an overworld map on FFXII because of the airship obsession. Maybe an overworld map on Revenant Wings?
FFX took a more realistic appraoch. The whole pilgrimage is an overworld map. They just classed up every area. The idea of vast plains of nothingness, with no discernable qualities, in almost any world, fictional or not, is pretty ridiculous at this point. They did the same thing with FFXII.
FFXII's problem was that the airship ideas fucking sucked! It's like this huge big deal, being a Sky Pirate and everyone travels by airship and, Hell, the final battle takes place on an airship. But other than that, it's a freakin' warp point!
At least give us the coordinates option apparent in FFX or something. Or ability to move in the ships's interior.

I never bothered to complete the dungeon. I got to about the 60th floor and gave up. And I remember the dungeon floors were so repetitive and boring.
It was repetitive, but hard monsters FTW.
