Not so much a remake as a movie/sequal. Its got all the old characters (Tifa, Red XII etc) although I havn't seen Barret in there yet, and the rumour is that Sephiroth (sorry if thats spelt wrong) is returning too.

But they are thinking of making a real remake of FF7 too.

i think it would be pretty cool if they remade ff7 because the ps1 version had really crappy graphics.

Advent Children isn't really a sequel, it's a movie. And they might be making a second movie basen on Valentine.

Even if it is a DMC clone it'll still probably be better then DMC 2 *shudder* God I was disappointed with that game.

With no PS2, and being bored of FF:CC I'm really starting to miss my FF games. I wanna trian some more on the Island Closest to Hell in FF8. And learn all my abilities in FF9. And make an attempt at maybe getting a little further in FFX.

The game was never realised in anyplace but Japan. Change it or not no one is going to be able to tell the difference unless they knew japanese and imported the original or lived in japan.
