I have no clue whatsoever.
It had to have been an admin though because of how old the club is.

Maybe it's because one of the admins/mods considered that the posts were becoming meaningless like spam so as people could have more posts, because i think they're alot more stricter now as i seen other big topics locked (and small ones too)

Well, I just happen to view somehow playing FFX1 on a computer (don't know if it was beta of not) in a place call Computer Gamerz. Pretty neat stuff.

The Graphics looked amazing as well as the interface.

I think Final Fantasy XI will be a really good game and all, but there seems to be a flaw, is there going to be a story to follow? There has always been a really good storyline to each one, which is probably one of the main reasons for it's greatness, but since this next installment is online, will that be better or worse, or maybe a bit of both?

Well at least there's still a bit of story there...also earlier you were saying that it's made with some of the best graphics around etc...does that mean that there's now only a little chance of it being released on the ps2? Anyway if the ps2 wasn't good enough, they could always make expansion packs to give our ps2's a wee kick

1)it was made for the best graphics technology for when it was made, which was a year ago.
2)it's been out in japan on PC and PS2 for that year, so it's obviously gonna be o both here.
3)its cheaper to play it on the PC

yeah, but for the PS2 you have to buy a modem, USB connection, a keyboard (is just as easy to play on PC), a monthly internet charge, and the game charge. PC just needs the game and the game charge($10 a month)

I'd rather that ff11 wasn't online because now you have to pay monthly, and that will restrict some peole from buying it,it will be really expensive, first you buy the game and then say you play it for 6 months, that's about £100.I'd much rather it was another normal ff game, despite the fact that i would totally love to play against other people, which is why i think they should release 2 versions!

you CAN play FFXI offline!
the game get's somewhat eazyer.
but the fun of having partners is draged out of it.
this option is only to level up and go online and all the others say:"OMFG!!!that guy has the hiest level i have ever seen!"
but like i said, the game is boring if you play alone.
just play fanesy star online.see the point?

I know you can play it offline but do you still have to pay the monthly charge if you don't play online?
