Aerodynamic is one of the songs from discovery that I listen a lot. It's a song that will never get old :)

Pedro Winter, Daft Punk's ex manager (and owner of Ed Banger records) has announced that Daft Punk have returned to their studios to work on their fourth album. If their trend of when their (new) albums are released (i.e. in March every 4 years), expect it in March 2009.

So, who else is happy by this news?

They managed it with the Alive 2006/2007 tour, when quite a lot of people had dismissed them has has-beens (cos of Human After All). I have faith in them.

Wow I was one of the members of this club when it was big. I remember how great it was. Looks like it's barely alive now. Makes me sad.

Me too. Too bad that I wasn't here when the club was big, but still we can discuss about daft punk here. Anyway, I think this club may be back to life when Daft Punk had finished their next album :)

I only read the first page of this topic but:
To start, daft punk does not play techno. They play electro-ish/house-ish. Their song _IS_ repetitive like all other electro/house songs, but they are progressive.

Ahh man I love Daft Punk. Pretty much all of their songs are amazing. My favorite band. I don't even know what my favorite song is, but Alive 2007 is amazing to listen to. Luckily it's not over yet, they're recording again. As for my favorite song, I would have to go with Aerodynamic. Timeless. But right now I am listening to Vietnam and High Fidelity because I never noticed the songs before, but they turned out amazing.
Macs are amazing and everything Apple makes they make it good (except Air) and if you can't afford it stop crying, leave it to the pros, and move on. Fuck off.

Personal info: My first time hearing Daft punk, was when I was 3-6, One More Time. Only recently did I find out that Daft Punk was french, not a fan of the french, but wicked fan of Daft Punk.
My top 5 Daft Punk songs:
5. Da Funk 4. Around the World 3. Robot Rock 2. Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger 1. Crescendolls

Please guys, leave this thread rest until Daft Punk launches their next studio album ;) Also, there's no point in bumping it if you don't have something interesting to talk about Daft Punk.

I noticed something a couple of years ago. Daft Punk's Homework and Discovery albums start with songs that flow one right into the next. For example, a note at the end of One More Time carries over into Aerodynamic, which fades into Digital Love. In Homework, it's the first 4 tracks that are connected; Daftendirekt echoes at the end into WDPK 83.7 FM to sound like a radio broadcast in the background of a night club in Revolution 909. The street noise at the end carries over into Da Funk. In the Human After All album, the only linked tracks I've noticed are On/Off and Television Rules the Nation, but that's over halfway through the track list.
