I would like to join!

I've been a zelda fan since I was 4 (First time I beat the original zelda)

When I was 6 I beat OOT and then Majora's Mask when it cam along (I loved that game soo much ^_^) and I still beat it every time there is a boring weekend ahead of me.

I completed every single task, side quest, minigame, and puzzle in LoZ WindWaker. (Wasn't hard at all :P)

I am on the City in the sky on Twilight princess GCN version (This dungeon is hard. Yet all the other dungeons in TP are extremely easy and kinda linear =\)

TP for the Wii I haven't gotten into too much because of my progress on the GCN version

I have zelda merch, I even bought the Master Sword off of the internet! :D

Hopefully I can join. Thanks :D

I want to go to the sky but lilia needs help finding her memory. Yup i just finished talking to impaz well a while ago.

I right now have to go find this woman who was with lilia and helped her.

Impaz is a guy right?

Anyways don't tell me where to find that woman.

Well to kick things off, I'd like state a theory I support on Link and how there are so many different Links :P

Metronomes Ledged of Zelda Theory

Well actually it's interesting and strange in a way.

I guess it could make sence that these men, all named Link, all heroes of there time, all exist in different dimensions.

It is highly possible that there are multiple Links, but different dimensions in which he exists in, so the Link from "Zelda 1 and 2" exists in one dimension.

The Link from "A Link To The Past" and "Links Awaking" is in a different dimension.

But think of this... The Link from the "Ocarina Of Time" dimension was tricked into entering a TOTALLY DIFFERENT dimension altogether, which is the world of Termina. So that explains why the world of Termina is so similar to Hyrule, it is actually just a parallel world of Hyrule.

Now another thought just hit me, maybe the problem with the Termina universe was that it did not have a hero Link existing in it, and it needed one in order for it to continue existing because it was going to be destroyed. So it must be the destiny of the skull kid to bring Link into the world of Termina to save it.

There are of course another two dimensions in which a Link exists, and they are the "Twilight Princess" dimension, and the "Wind Waker" dimension.

Now think of this... Imagine what would happen if all of the Links from different dimensions merged into a single new dimension to fight a new evil force. That would make five Links altogether all in a one dimension.
This might be exactly why there are 4 Links in the story of "The Ledged of Zelda Four Swords". But we would have to assume that story took place before the Wind Waker, either that or the Wind Waker Link is not actually a hero Link.

Any thoughts on this?

Actually, all of the Links' co-inhabit the same universe, just at different times.

For instance, there is OoT.
Then, in the same universe, there is TP, a few decades later.
Then there is Windwaker Link, hundreds of years after that.

This is indeed an interesting theory. For Link's Awakning, this whole adventure was just a dream.

Because I read the manga of MM, I don't think Skull Kid's destiny was to bring Link to Termina, because he summoned by himself the Moon to come down.

For the Wind Waker, it's ''Dimension'' is the same to OoT, because the story mentions a ''Hero Of Time'', wich OoT is the only game to have this kind of Hero. But it might be the world when Link was an adult. For finishing about WW, Link is a hero because in the middle of the game, he is called the ''Hero Of Winds''.

For TP, I cannot explain how it works. There is only one thing that I think someone had already said, maybe the whole serie is the same story but just retold in a different ways.

But anyway, you have a great spirit of sense. I like how you think.

Well I do have another idea about LoZ's timeline starting from OoT
I really wanna get this idea out fast before I forget about it so if something doesn't make sense, l'll try to make sense out of it

OK SO

Link had the ability to jump foward and backwards through 7 or 8 years of his life. 7 to 8 years is a long, long time. After you rescue Zelda and defeat Ganon, Link turns back into his 10 year old self. After OoT, he goes on to Termania on his "personal" quest. After that, Link would be pretty much done with his childhood adventures, and Twilight Princess would take over. I know that it's a really lose theory, but I had to put it down on paper before I forgot about it. I had my own personal Zelda epiphany :D

I'm not the best guy to ask about this, but I know the timeflow of the games go somewhat like this

LoZ1>LoZ2>(skipping one or two games)>OoT=(because it takes place at the same time)MM>TP>WW>GBA games, in some crazy order

That's the only clear timeline I've gotten that fits, but I'm not sure where the other games go.

That's pretty accurate. The GBA versions I haven't gotten into much except for 4 Swords Adventure, but I'm pretty sure that some Zelda games have their own storyline, and are probably lucky if they get a sequel to that storyline. Hah.

But first I'd like to congratulate Xtesh for getting to level 22 (Maybe next year I'll get that high)

Hehe, I´ve heard all kinds of theories about the timeline in Zelda before. Even the creators of the game do not want to tell which Zelda game comes after which, but I believe they revealed once that Link´s Awaking was actually #1. They also revealed that there were more Hero´s of Time in Hyrule´s history. The Young Link part of OoT is deffinatly followed by MM. Then comes the Adult Link part and several decades later (with some other Hero of Time) TP. A couple of ages later is WW, and I think that one was actually supposed to be the last in the timeline were Ganondorf dies. But which games are at which place between all these I don´t know.

Well yea. What pissed me off is that Miyamoto couldn't get a different villian.

I killed Ganon/Ganondorf acouple thousand times. A little twist (Like MM) could definatly bring the series back to the top (I just hope to god they make new LoZ content. I want a new game for a Next-Gen with awesome graphics, but I'd be happy with a book or something)

Well you had Zant in Twilight Princess. I think he was a good idea, but... nevermind I won´t spoil anything for you.

Anyways, I must say, Ganondorf looked awesome in TP and you´re probably gonna like the final battle with him. I personally don´t really mind that you always have to fight him in the end. I just wish he was more... present before the end of the game. Like you actually see him destroying stuff and doing evil things.

Lol, I love the zelda series really.
Although yes I don't like the puzzles or drifting over the oceans as fun as the dramatic action packed scenes in dungeons.

I agree with Prawn on one subject : Dungeons
I did not like windwaker for the fact that it was a bit too open and bright.
I liked the style and animations but i really like the dungeons that they have in Ocaraina, MM and TP. It was always meant to be a dark, sort of gritty game imo. It lends itself to the "sword and shield" theme and flavor.
