Nick cast a sideways glance at Eddy. His years as a Rider taught him to trust no one but yourself and your fellow Riders. But Eddy had already acquited himself a million times over in Nick's eyes. It was time to come clean.

"I'm not gonna lie to you, Eddy, but what the backers have in mind for you, me, Tony, Ethan, and the rest of the Euro-Team isn't gonna be too pretty."

"We're heading to Europe? What for, then?" asked Eddy.

"Well, we, that is, if you're wanting to come along, of course," Nick added hastily, not wanting to drag Eddy into this, it being his neck he might very well be putting on the chopping block, "We will be heading over to the UK, or whatever it's called now, and try to fix up an trans-continental radio tower. It used to be the only speedy means of getting any messages across the ocean. A year ago, it went black, nothing. Not even a lonely carrier pidgeon, We're being sent to see what's up."

"Why me?"

"You're a blacksmith, and can make weapons and ammo. Apparently my employers think it wise to send a way to restock our weaponry over with us would be a good idea."

"Who's all going?"

"Myself, Tony & Ethan. We were asked because we're essentially mercs. Riders get what work they can, when they can. Some do grunt work, others are hired killers. Myself and the others like to think of ourselves as righteous. We've never done anything that any sane person would consider immoral just for payment. Mostly, we get by as a glorified delivery service. We're the guns in this. And the expendable ones I inferred." Nick added, with a sudden ugly look on his face. "Not alot of people give two shits about Riders."

"You mentioned some others?" Eddy asked, arching an eyebrow.

"Yeah. We're flying over, so we need a flight crew. We're also getting a medic, a couple engineers, and assorted technicians, and a few other volunteers. It going to pay very, very well I'm told. High in the five digits. My friends and I could feasibly live of that for well over a couple decades. Although..." Nick trailed off as he looked around Joseph's Hill. "I'm starting to rather like it here. I love being a Rider, having my freedom but..."

"You lack stability. You have no place to call home, no place to go back to, or to look forward to going. It may forge a powerful bond among you and your friends, but you Riders must all be rather lonely." said Eddy.

Nick smiled in spite of himself. He had known Eddy for about 18 hours and was already growing attached to the man. True, he had to be at least five years Nick's senior, and was obviously a very powerful man, used to doing things the hard way. Nick was still young and carefree. Sure, his years as a Rider hardened him, taught him to depend on himself, but he was still just a kid. Eddy seemed to look past all that, down to Nick's character. Nick smiled again, he was talking to a man he just might be able to depend on.

"Got that right, mate. Anyway, we're heading out in a few days. We figure we'll help you folks out cleaning up a bit. Also, we'll see if anyone else wants to head over. Plus, we'll leave someone with instructions to tell anyone interested in it that missed us to head for New York ASAP." Nick straightened up, slipped off his hat, then look Eddy in the eyes.

Eddy couldn't supress a bit of a shiver. Nick's gaze was light and friendly, but there was something about his eyes. Something that seemed to be taking in the workings of Eddy's mind and soul and evaluating it.

"So, the question I have for you Edward McCreedy, is but this: You in?"

((Up to you, Chicky, I'm not going to force you too choose.

Anyone in the area interested in hoping the plane, try to write that into a post. Anyone not in the area, wanting to come along, either get in the area, or head for New York and talk to my char when he gets there. Just so everyone who wants along can get on the ride to go. I hear it's a looooooooong walk to Europe.))

Jak awoke from his slumber on the cold rug next to the couch. The hair on his arms stood from the chilly night. He looked around, his mind orienting itself with the world, or room. It was the same room as which he'd passed out in, wooden paneled walls with a carpeted floor and sparce furniture, though all of it was in wonderful taste, a simple existance with nature and world, someone could change themselves here.

Jak: Guh, wuh?

He sat up in his blue shirt and casual pants, rubbing his eyes with the back of his chilly hand to remove the stiffness and clear his vision, it was dark, maybe only a few hours after head lost consciecness. Standing, with the support of the floral patterned sofa, to his unstable feet, at which point he retreaved the labcoat balled up as use of a pillow and inspected the world closer since his eyes had finally focused. All was dark, but he could make out the different things within the room using the sparse pearl beams spouting from the windows. The thing that caught his eye though, was, after the beautifully crafted double-edged rapier sword with an intricate basket-hilt and a blade slightly thicker than a regular ones the peice was a work of art even if it did look plain, but that wasn't important...right now. What he did notice was the kitchen door, more prominantly the light coming from beneath it. Jak stumbled over to the door, tripping over something in the dark, but make little noise as possible.

The light was obviously from a candle as the light was unbalanced and wavered, casting the shadows of two individuals talking. He wasn't one from eaves-dropping, but it could gain valuable information and gave you the choice of whether to act upon it or forget it. With an ear place softly against the door he could surely make out to distinct voices. Ed? And...Nick, sounded like that man.

Ed: "You mentioned some others?" (The voice was slightly muffled)
Nick: "Yeah. We're flying over, so we need a flight crew. We're also getting a medic, a couple engineers, and assorted technicians, and a few other volunteers. It going to pay very, very well I'm told. High in the five digits. My friends and I could feasibly live of that for well over a couple decades. Although..."

[A medic, guess who that'll be...5digits, this will be great!] Jak reprimanded himself slightly when he noticed that the conversation had moved on while he'd been left to his own thoughts.

-Nick: "Got that right, mate. Anyway, we're heading out in a few days. We figure we'll help you folks out cleaning up a bit. Also, we'll see if anyone else wants to head over. Plus, we'll leave someone with instructions to tell anyone interested in it that missed us to head for New York ASAP."

A chair scraped the ground and Jak furrowed his brow worried that he might miss his chance before this Nick left through the back door. There was a pause, the quite in the house filled only slightly be the settling of an old building.

-Nick: "So, the question I have for you Edward McCreedy, is but this: You in?"

A long pause set in, as if the entire world were waiting on this question, the answer so important that all the people of the universe were holding thier breath until the greatest answer to life was answered. Yes, or no.

At thatmoment, as Jak also juggled the implications of what the question was...he tripped, on what it wasn't apparent, but it didn't matter. He sailed into the dark gloom of the kitchen, almost falling over as he caught onto the tables edge with his furry paws. His brow tightened more as his lips pursed together in a tight grin.

-Jak: So to New York? Where do I sign, no doubt I'm the best you can find within the Northern Americas (putting emphesis on the CAHS with a slight Mexican accent).
-Nick: Actually NY then onto England, and I have no doubt in your abilities Jak, but are you up for this?
-Jak: Might as well.
-Nick: Good then, we'll be leaving in only a few days, so get your gear together and be ready to leave...that leaves only you to answer Ed.

((Now this isn't just because you complimented me earlier, but I actually read your post about 3 times Blue', it seems you're feeling much better now. :D))

"That's it...no more boats..." muttered David as he stepped off the steam ship. The journey had taken 6 days, and he has never been so happy to set foot on dry land. Unfortunately for him, Jennifer did not share his opinion, and proceeded to drag him across town. "Where exactly are we?" she asked him.

"No idea. All I know, is that we're in England. It'll take us 2 days to get to London Town, so I want to get going now." replied David, yanking his arm free, and shaking it. She was surprisingly strong.

"Wouldn't do that if I were you..." David spun around, clutching for his revolver, Jennifer readying her rifle at the same time.

"60 seconds to explain why you're talking to us, or the head comes off!" Threatened David, levelling his gun at the stranger, cocking it for good measure. Jennifer followed his actions, if a little more hesitantly.

"The Soths are on a spree right now. Word is, they assaulted Joseph's Hill not too long ago, and got a nasty shiner to show for it, and they're none too pleased. You'd stick to the town for now if you know what's good for you."

David didn't know who the Soths were, but if they had the locals running scared, they couldn't be good. Even so, he wasn't going to be spooked. "

"Thanks for the advice, stranger." he said, holstering his gun and walking off without a second glance. Jennifer followed him, confusion apparent in her eyes.

2 days later, south of London Town

"The map says the village is just west of here. Keep your eyes sharp, we don't know what's out here." whispered David. Jennifer nodded slowly, and readied her rifle.

Buildings slowly appeared over the horizon. David felt a sinking feeling in his gut. Something was wrong, and he could feel it. It was too...quiet.

As they walked through the main road, his suspicions were confirmed. They were entering a dead village. Bullet holes and bloodstains were everywhere, and death hung in the air. The place had been raided.

David wandered to one of the homes. He knelt, and found a dried pool of blood, and a skeleton to match. "These guys have been dead for ages..." It was obvious what had happened to his family. They were killed. He then noticed there was a scrap of paper clutched tightly in the skeletons fist. After a few minutes of prying, he grabbed it from the corpse.

"Dear David Cross,

"If you're reading this, the damn Soths got us. Thank you for coming this far for us, but apparently it wasn't meant to be. Listen, this place has gotten downright nasty lately. Watch your back, and don't trust anybody. Get the hell outta here, the Soths probably are still hanging around. "

Your brother, Joseph.

Just then, footsteps behind him. Jennifer crouched down with him, and said, "We gotta go! Buncha nasties coming in from the north, probably the Soths the old man was talking about." David nodded, crumpled the letter, and dashed out of the house.

However, the Soth scouts had better eyesight than they gave them credit for, and one of them shouted, "Look out boys, there's some fre-" He was cut off, as Jennifer took the top of his head off with a well placed shot.

"Cover's blown! We gotta get outta here!" shouted David.

((Alright I feel obligated to clear some shit up. When I made up Sothland I envisioned them as a small confederacy based in Souther Cali and Baja, to take the position of minor antagonist. Of course you weren't there Target, so I don't blame you for, ya know, using them all the way in England, just thought I'd point it out, also, TOM FULP ADD AN EDIT BUTTON! But I digress.

I hinted towards a big brother nation pulling strings in a couple of side posts of mine recently, and so I continue))

A man in a yellow, black-striped sweater stood over the Marines as they reached the top of the cliff, a hunting rifle in his arms and a cigarette smoldering between his chapped lips. He wore jeans over his skinny legs and nothing over his long blonds hair. As the officer of the platoon, slowly climbing their way up the noisy rope ladder, a man named Holger, reached the top, the stranger reached down and helped him up, finally at the top of the fjord, a good 200 feet high. As he pulled the Ak from his back, as well as grab the hand of one of the other marines, Holger said, "Thanks friend, you are?"
The man took out the cigarette, exhaling as he said, "Sven, Oslian Trailblazer, and I'm guessing you fellows are the marines Dirk promised us?" His eyes were narrow, his tone only slightly interested. A warm welcome.
As more marines got to the top of the ladder, brushing off and getting out their weapons, Holger gave a firm nod of agreement before saying, "So, wheres the rest of you? The other trailblazers, I mean, and the, uh, Green Bay airlifts?" More and more men were beginning to reach the top, just standing around, waiting for the stranger to lead them on.
Sven looked at the force prepared infront of him, the best the Green Bay had to offer, an impressive bunch, well armed at least. He put the cigarette back in his mouth, took a drag, and tossed the thing into the fjord before saying, "The rest of us are at a camp south of here, near the village of Bleikli, and with you here, we can finally take it." He coughed a little, snorting, and spat a tabacco ridden louge off the side of the fjord. With a motion of the hand, signifying he wished the marines to follow closely, he walked away. The men, slightly disappointed, trailed after the trailblazer, heading into the thick pine forest in front of them.

((I know it seems that we've forgotten the RP, but me, Chicky and Target are working out the major plot points via PM. Sit tight folks, we'll get it moving again in no time.

That's the problem of forums eh? You always figure someone else will do something, and everyone else thinks the same thing, and it all stagnates.

So have some balls people! You are allowed to have a side storyline for your own characters you know. Don't think that I'm gonna be a draconian prick about this. It's your author-insertion sci-fi personas, so make 'em your own.))

"So, the question I have for you Edward McCreedy, is but this: You in?"

Ed was silent for a long time, his eyes not at Nick, but at his feet, as if there was some sort of deep universal truth to be revealed from them, but there was none, and Ed new it. He looked up, and laughed a little, before saying, "Ya'know? I grew up in this town always afraid of war, everyone was, we hated our enemy, hated them like they were in with Beelzebub himself, me and the rest of the boys, we had one escape. People came here from the north, telling tales about great places far away, exotic and full of adventure, we listened and imagined it, a place of pure fantasy. Cities built out of gold, forests taller than the sky, monsters fiercer than the most ornery Hell-deer, we imagined ourselves there, conquering the world single handedly. The only place we could turn to escape from the harsh reality of war was our own dreams." Ed's face had a smile on it as Nick listened to each word that left it with interest.
Ed looked around the house, each place he would turn he would be reminded. Pictures of him and his father, things his father made, old show guns and candle holders, each one a memory now in the past. Ed's face was covered with a smile alright, but behind his happy eyes were twin oceans of tears, struggling to find a way out. "Nick, what your describing to me was my childhood dream, I would love nothing more than to go with you, but . . ." Eddy's voice stopped abruptly, a hot drop of water running from his eye. His smile curled into a dark frown, his eyes no longer happy, but rather, angry. His face undertook an immediate transformation, a happy dreamer to a hateful, vengeful old man. Ed threw an anger driven punch, screaming curses out of his crimson face, breaking a hole in the wall. "Richard!" He spat, quiet but intense. "Richard, I can't leave him, and I can't abandon my country like him! He has taken my father, that damned Sothlot have taken my mother, and I won't let them take anybody else!"
Nick raised his hands, a look of pure sympathy on his face, saying, "I can't begin to understand Ed, I'm an orphan, I never had what you had, so I never lost anything. You do what you have to do."
Ed looked at the young man, grateful for the care from a fellow orphan, thats what Ed was now wasn't it? Both parents dead, no siblings, all alone. Panting heavily, Ed said, "Aye, and you to. Get that money, you deserve it, and the stability it will bring, and I'll have my vengeance, maybe I'll see you again sometime, but I can't wait anymore, I'm leaving now." Ed wiped the tears from his eyes with his hand, looking for something to dry it on. He settled for his own shirt. "I can't wait anymore for this, tell the others goodbye for me, Benito or bust." Nick offered a hand, and Ed grabbed it with a firm grip, shook it twice, and let it fall limp, as by the time Nick looked up, Ed and his father's shotgun were gone.

* * * 20 minutes later * * *

Sam's hooves echoed in the silent, mournful night, almost as if mother nature herself was paying respect to the dead. The moon was low in the sky as morning drew near, a small favor of God that Eddy was extremely grateful for. He said goodbye to both Jak and Finn as he fled the house, not explaining where he was going, too angry, and too sad to muster the strength to. Benito lied in the north, so thats where he was going, with nothing but his father's masterpiece, the clothes on his back, and the horse his father had bought him. No birds sang tonight, no animals cracked twigs or rustled bushes tonight, it was silent, save the sound of metal on dirt. Everyone but the gravedigger had tonight off.

The pen is mightier than the sword, assuming there isn't a sword nearby.

"One of the many no-name port towns on the Isle. We're 2 days south of London Town, but we're not traveling just yet. We're finding an Inn, I think I'm gonna be sick..."

They managed to find an old wooden one, 2 stories high. Inside was surprisingly cozy, well lit, and comfortable. Most importantly, no one asked questions. Perfect.

David strolled over to the inn owner, who barely paid him a glance in return. "I'd like to know how much it would be to rent 2 rooms for the night, ma'am." he asked politely.

"290 copper pieces. We're the only inn in town, so that's the best ya get." she said, without looking up from the book she was reading. David was stunned. Between him and Jennifer, they had 190, not nearly enough. Looks like outdoors was their option tonight.

However, this was not to be, as Jennifer tugged on his sleeve, and, not waiting for him to respond, dragged him away and outside the inn. "Look! I saw this on the way in!" She pointed at a poster.

"Help wanted: Radio tower has been damaged. Looking for armed escort for repair team. Must supply own weapon. Meet in the Town Hall on the 27th, 7 PM for more information." David read aloud. "This could work. If it pays us enough, we can afford a horse or two, and ride to London Town. It'll be a milk run, just a few days at the most."

"Hell, the meeting starts in 2 hours! Let's get goin'! said David, checking his pocket watch. He sprinted off, Jennifer right behind him.

2 Hours Later

David pounded on the heavy doors to the Town Hall. After a few seconds, he pushed them open with his shoulder, and walked inside. Immediately, he was greeted by a gruffy man with a shotgun. "Good to see you made it! You're here for the escort job, aren't ya?" David was taken aback from the rapid greeting, so he simply nodded.

"Good. That radio Tower is crucial to the survival of many down here. There's a group coming down from Californiway, be down here in a few days. Problem is, they ain't enough. Link up with them, help them as much as you can, and come back here. Payment is 20,000 copper pieces upon success."

Good, and the late reply isn't that huge of a deal.

Name: Ricardo Munto (Rick)

Alright

Age: 17

This barely passes, since minimum is 17, you either knew that or got lucky, either way this checks out.

Appearance: Athletic build, black fauxhawk hairstyle, brown eyes, long sleeve soccer jersey
(man utd #7 C.Ronaldo) with jeans, and black belt slightly showing, carries backpack, Casual Nike shoes, vertically lined tattoo on right side of ribs saying "Epic"
He is considered "good looking" but not enough for the girls from his school to "loli-gag" over

School? He has a school does he, hmmm, interesting proposition, it can work with a little thought on your part since the RP is pretty free form, if it checks out great.

Equipment: Video Camera, backpack, lead pipe, cell phone

Where would he get a working video camera and cell phone? I'm not sure if you found the right page or not, or get the premise, either way thats gonna have to change if it doesn't have a good explanation.

Skills: holds good speed in case of reconnaissance, good people skills (can reason)
is muscular due to athletic self, has some armature* parkour skills

Fair enough, but how does he make a living? This is an RP and I imagine he has some sort of career at least in mind for the future. Realism is something that the best writers master, unfortunately its one of the hardest skills for some to comprehend.

Personality: Hes more on the lightheared side, but once angered just cant be reasoned with, very determined on the task at hand or on what he wants and needs. Is a funny guy, enjoys sports, mostly soccer. Is relatively a smart dude, but nothing too special or un-ordinary

Ok, so hes a jock, but intelligent, he's light hearted and funny, but determined and can't be reasoned with while angry? Does he have a multiple personality disorder? Pick one and stick with it, play it up, give him a believable, likable personality. That doesn't mean he needs to be perfect, but someone the reader can sympathies with and enjoy reading about.

Bio: Originally from Monterey, Mexico...Rick immigrated* to the U.S where he now resides
Very talented in the soccer field but has an even greater passion for film, which people dont quite comprehend. He is half Mexican-half Portuguese*

Too vague, too brief, what was his early life like? Family? Friends? What did he do as a child? Did he experience any trauma at a young age? How did he emigrate? Did he leave with anyone? And finally, the U.S. is no longer in existence in this RP, and neither is Mexico, its a post-apocalyptic world filled with tiny confederacies and kingdoms in the ruins of old civilization. If you want to know the whole story read the page linked in my signature, and skim your way to the last page to get the story so far as well as my character sheet for an example of something that could be deemed acceptable.

Location: Rick currently is stranded in south beach

Needs to be a bit more specific, current day cities and counties so we know exactly where, since this RP is built on this planet you can afford to be specific, it helps, a lot.

If another more detailed and cleaned up Character profile is needed, it shall be done. I'm still getting used to being back on the RP-Scene haha

You will need a more detailed profile, also watch that spelling huh? Its sort of annoying. Welcome back to the RP world, though this is the only NG RP it doesn't mean we don't have as high standards as those on writing websites and websites completely devoted to RP games like this.

Hope i fill into things soon enough...i enjoy writing

Good. if thats true then you shouldn't have a problem fitting in here again, after all RP's are just a fun way to improve your writing, a collaborative writing workshop if you will.

and need it for my gf, who also tends to enjoy writing lol but enough of my personal life
Hello to everybody in the Survival Rpg

Hello to you as well, fix up your character profile and skim the storyline and you can get to writing right away! Also, the spelling needs some work.

Everyone is probably waiting behind thier keyboards for someone to say this so here it goes...

Anyone who is going to NewYork then going to England should write a post about packing up and then giving the "All clear". Let's say we get to NY about...Thursday? (Real Time)

Good, so let's go people!

As much as i don't want it to seem as though i quit, i don't think i can pull through with any RPs. It was nice change of pace to get some good criticism on my char info (what to include and what not) I just happen to have to many things going on at the moment. I'll more than likely, however, come back around once this "campaign" or "volume" ends. So yeah, i appreciate the interest and tips, you guys seem like a good group of people =]

Always up for high-quality members who love to RP, you don't have to wait for this chapter to be over before coming back. Whenever you have all your RL stuff figured out and think you can squeeze into the story somehow just drop by.

((Well kids, I've asked around, those who've I've asked know what I'm talking about, and the general consensus is: "Why the fuck didn't you ask sooner?!"

As your resident vet/Lieutenant/ass-hat I take honour in presenting to you, great members of Survival RPG, the chance to gain critical acclaim on NG, fame, fortune, and maybe even some poontang. Or not.

I asked four fellow vets (still waiting on one's answer though) about turning the RP into a Flash movie and/or series.

NG is obviously a Flash site first and foremost. Personally, I feel that our thread is prime fodder for one hell of a series. From looking over the archives of all the clubs (it was exactly as fun as you think it was) we are, and I'm completely serious here, THE RP thread.

I can't find any RP threads extending back about a month. What started in March of 2006 has survived for nearly two and a half years now. Years! In forum time, that's like eons or some shit. God, I feel pretty fucking old now. Gimme a sec...

Plus, we never fell into obscurity to be reborn later. Sure, there were dry spells, but that doesn't really matter. The important bit is that we never fell off the first five pages of the BBS. That speaks volumes about both our members and our dedication to this thread.

I mean, it's damn hard to keep a club going for years. Especially ours, where we are pretty damn draconian about who gets in and who doesn't. In addition, we have to put real thought into our posts. We can't leave it at "that's so true lol" No. We have to put depth and meaning into just about everything we do here. I think I can speak for those who've been here a while that it becomes second nature eventually. Hell, I'm just spouting off at the gob here about us, and I'm using adjectives that I'd never thought I would.

This club works is what I'm trying to hammer home. We've all grown as writers I'd like to think. Personally, I always use good grammar and spelling and what-not in my posts, but this thread actually made me a wee bit prouder of the nonsense I spit at the Internet.

So, what I'm saying here in an extremely roundabout way here is that we have the talent to produce something fucking EPIC here. Let me show you our vets and their talents:

Target: Some of the best battle scenes I've ever read.

Misu: A couple of his posts nearly moved me to tears. He can make you bond with his characters like no one's potatoes. (that analogy fucking sucked)

Chicky: Adds about ninety dimensions to his characters and his settings.

Jak: Witty as hell. That torture scene had me laughing SO hard.

And of course, me. I like to think I bring excellent character development, and I always do my best to fully flesh out the backstory to the characters, their motivation, and the setting.

People, we have the means. We have the opportunity. We have the motivation. Let's do this. Let's make our mark on NG for all time.

Which brings me to point number two: We need animator(s).

I have Flash. I use Flash. I can't draw for shit. I'm not that good at animating yet either. If anyone can either do this, or find someone who can do this, TELL ME!! I really don't want to go to the Flash forum and beg. I don't think that will gain us any damn ground.

We should also hold auditions for the role of animators. Even if we write Shakesphere worthy shit, we're boned if we get stick figures tweening and nothing else. What I'd love is for the genius of Tom Fulp and his friends to help us out. I honestly think Michael Jackson will turn black again before that happens though. Anyway: Animators wanted; HELP!!

Point three: Voices.

Obviously, we should be voicing our own characters. They're ours, we made 'em, we play 'em. I have a pretty good mike and audio software, so I can do mine just fine. I don't want to impose on anyone, but if you don't have a mike, I'd urge you to get one. This isn't an order, it's a friendly suggestion. Obviously, we may need to look for voice actors, so if anyone has an interested friend, now's the time to ask.

To sum this shit up:

A.) We can write a fuck-awesome script based on the first chapters of the thread. Cause zombies rock, as did those story arcs.

B.) We need animators to help us.

C.) We should voice our own characters.

D.) We need to pull together to pull this off. I really, REALLY wanna see this happen, and I can't do it alone. If anyone knows anyone who would be willing to help, ask them, tell me, and then we'll see.

As a final note, don't start working on a script yet folks. Let's get the rest of the team set up first off, then we'll go from there.

Anyway, the current team members for the "Survival RPG Flash Project" are:

Me: Writer and Actor.

I know everyone else will join in a heartbeat, I just wanna double check to make sure that you want in. Everyone is welcome, vet or not. Remember we need: Writers, Animators, and Actors. So, state your preferred role when you sign-up. You can change at any time, so don't feel too committed to this. However, once we get far enough in, you may be locked in your role, so fairly be ye warned kids.

Wow, longest non-RP post yet. Happy summer vacation BTW everyone!! I'm gonna spend mine on my Xbox 360 and on here. Go Team Shut-In!!!))

I know somebody who might be able to help on the animating bit, someone who's damn good at it, and has a bit of NG fame, a big name that might raise a few eyebrows at our little project here, bu before I get ahead of myself I will ask them first. On a side not: I sound terrible through machinery, like a 12 year old, seriously, so I might want somebody to take over that little part. I know someone with recording equipment, though, so I might be able to use it, just to see if it isn't that bad. I think the fact that we've been here this long demands some recognition from Tom Fulp and his connections, and finally, yes, of course I'm in.

Hell to the fuck yes Blue!

I would like to write my own lines and actions (though if you need me to do certain things I can work that out). I may or may not have a problem with VA (voice acting) but I've been told I sound grown-up (whether that be true or not).

I'm going to try practicing for a few minutes with some of my lines with Windows Movie Maker...and my mic...

I hope that this movie not only get's into production but blows the sperm outta all these NGers holes that they come crawling to the forum for our grace.

Alright, didn't really pan out with that animator, but he did give me some good advice. We need to get together a synopsis and theme so that the animators can actually have an honest thought about whether or not they want to participate. So how about we do that, but not here of course, through pm and shit.

((Glad to see that everyone likes this so much. We'll talk over PM and shit, like Chicky said. Anyway, let's RP shall we.))

Nick shook Ed's hand and watched him leave. He heaved a heavy sigh and walked off with Jak in tow.

"So....what's going on again?"

"We're heading to New York City, and then hopping a plane to the UK. There's a radio tower that we need to fix up and defend from bandits. We'll be leaving in ten hours, so get some sleep. I'll wake you when we leave."

Nick left Jak in front of the town inn and found his friends. In response to Tony's wordless question he shook his head.

"Damn," swore Ethan, "Now what'll we do for ammo and stuff?"

"We'll have to scavenge what we can on our way to the site. Maybe we'll find someone in New York or London that'll help us. Regardless, we should get some rest. I'll see you guys tomorrow. And with that Nick headed back to the inn, went to his room, and collapsed dead tired on his cot and was asleep instantly.

I'm really sorry i haven't been here the past week,my keyboard was out of comission and i've been pretty busy but i'm back and it seems i've missed quite a bit.

There is no doubt about it that we must do a survival flash,it would be a sin not to.Without this rpg my writing skills would still suck,i like to think they've improved slightly which is good.

I'd rather not do my own characters voice becasue i just don't have the equipment but i'm more than able to write the scripts and do character descriptions.

If you think my writing can bring you to tears Blue, just wait until i get my hands on the script.

Again sorry i haven't been here and if it wouldn't be any trouble, could someone fill me in on whats happened in the story while i've been gone.

((Man, I have been busy with some serious RPing elsewhere, and haven't been around NG lately. I also can't really do my part of this RP anymore, as I've been away too long. I'll still read stuff in here though.))

How are we actually going to write the script for the flash exactly?.Will there be some members that specifically work on the script in a group or will everyone be doing their bit in contributing with the script?

((Yes, you can. Just fill out the new form. The link to the page it's on is in Chicky's sig I think))

Okay, now as for that there Survival RP Flash thingy. The people who I wanna see write the script are as follows:

Myself
HitTheTarget
Chicky
Misu
JakFrost

Why? As we are the vets, we have experience, and like Target said, as the more firmly entrenched members in the RP, and this know what we're doing. Alcohol may be a factor in this, I do not know. All I know is that to make a good post, all I need is nachos, Avenged Sevenfold and a healthy supply of anger.

That's not too hard, as I've recently decided to give up my 2008 New Year's Resolution and go back to being a misanthropic prick again. Why?

Go work in retail for a year and then tell me that you don't want to murder somebody. You will. I can promise you that.

Anyway, Chicky PMed me a great idea to finish/polish up that little failed bit of RP that we stopped partway through to do this alien/post-apocalyptic story arc. We'll do that then. Polish that sucker up, make a nice little script, write a synopsis to woo some animation/art talent our way, give them the script, then sit back and watch our tax dollars at work. Of course, we'll work closely with them to ensure that what we want is what we'll get.

Also...I want to dedicate this project to Slap. He'd be all up in this if he was okay. Hell, he'd probably have eight movies done by now. That guy was a definate vet as well. Every time he reviewed someone's application I'd always read it just for a few laughs, as more often then not he'd shoot the guy down then piss on the ashes. L OH FUCKING L. Bitches. So, this one's for Slap, amiright?

As for writing the damn thing...it'll be hard. Too many cooks spoil the soup and all that crap. We have five people working on this. What I'd like to do is to hand out clear cut roles to people and let them have at it. Like a set guy, a plot guy, a character guy, a dialogue guy, that kinda thing.

I know that your first instinct will be to take over your character and write everything about him...but I'm not sure that would work. We'd have to coordinate our efforts everytime we added more to the fucking thing to ensure no dialogue, plot or scene SNAFUs occured, and as we aren't exactly next-door neighbours here...we have quite the dilemma. Shit, do any two of us even live in the same fuckingtime zone?

My point in all this is that we are proper fucked when it comes to coordinating our efforts. Each of us has to be as autonomous as possible; we have to be able to work on our own bits when it's good for us, and not everyone. If we go for the latter, we'd get only hours to do everything if we want this submitted to the Portal before we all die of old age.

But, we do need to actually have a real conversation about this. We need to chat about this. I see that NG has a chat option. I've no idea how the confounded thing works, as I've never clicked it. If anyone involved in this has a good idea where those who are able can meet privately to talk about this, please let me know ASAP. If we could actually talk-talk, as in voice chat, that would obviously be ideal. Hell, I have a webcam, we could do face-to-face even! But I doubt we could even do voice talky. So I guess we're down to just text-chatting. Again, please PM me any ideas, as I'm stumped. Hell, if we could use the text bar in some stupid online game I'd be happy.

RAmen.

Name: ( I can easily pick a new one, just say so, but the last time i used my real name, and would like to keep it if thats okay)

Age: Sixteen

He has laceless shoes, that are solid gray, and hte outside is a fabric with a black skull printed on both feet. One tattoo (signed for by his mother for his sixteeth birthday) the head of a rose, with the letters KRV in the center, full color, on the right deltiod. Black short hair, dark brown eyes, that look brown unless light hits them directly. A bout 5'11" and 185 lbs, solidly built, but relatively lean. Has olive color skin.

Equipment: Beige backpack full of junk food from a looted gas station. a medium size crowbar stained with blood.

Skills: Has taken three years of kickboxing, and two of mixed martial arts (after watching UFC fights) knows how to cook, and has rudamentary navagational skills,

Personality: Dry cynical sarcastic. Usually the first to point at fat people and laugh. Has a strong mentality of "i'm not trying to hurt thier feelings, its just funny, and i like to laugh" Realizes the gravity of most situations, but on the outside refuses to treat them that way. Jokes around about a lot. No stranger to morbidity, and doesn't flinch much at the sight of blood and guts. Has a massive soft spot for girls, often letting chivalry over come good sense. Has a huge respect for girls, instilled by living with his mother, and three sisters, with little influence from his brother and father. Often takes some actions seen as feminine to comfort women. Around men he has a live and let live policy. doens't try to take anything or bother anyone, and expects reciprocation.

Bio:Grew up pretty upper low class. not alot of money, because of the insane about of children in his house (of varying ages) likes to listen to people with problems, and always shown a tendency towards being a social worker, or psychologist.

Location: I believe the last time i joined we had to pick a european country or something a long those lines? If i can stick with the UK thats fine, but thats easily fixed depending on any changed rules there might have been

Thats another thing guys. Last time i was here was almost last year, so any changes in rules or whatnot, please let me know.
