Just don't submit an application if it's above your abilities.

I only applied to two Universities... the wait was terrible and I would frantically check the mail everyday searching for a response.
That was the worst for me though, I got accepted to them... but I can understand how disappointing it can be to get rejected :(

Does it could if you could get in a college but your parents won't let you because they don't want to let you go?

You picked the Buckeye's right.
I'm taking MCAS this year, so if I get advanced on Math and English, I get Full Tuiton to any Massachusetts State College,

No way! Case is about 27th in the country's best school. I didn't think I'd make it in, which was why I went with OSU as a backup.

Good luck with those! I'm sure you'll do well. : D

I didn't feel all that bad about my college applications. I applied to two universities I didn't have any interest at all in, one I thought would be cool if I got in but wasn't sure I wanted to go there, and then two that I was deciding between which I wanted to go to.
I was rejected from the ones I wasn't interested in, waitlisted and later accepted at the one I was unsure of, and accepted at the two I was most interested in.
To be honest, it really really does not matter where you go to school. You should be able to enjoy yourself and get a degree while paying as little money as possible. Sure, some of the networking you get from going to those more well-known schools are great, but if you're an outstanding candidate from one University you can just go to an awesome graduate school to get the same sort of thing.

I would go with the Better Sports team, but thats just me. I've always wanted to go to Boston College but I don't have enough money.
Good luck with those! I'm sure you'll do well. : D

I got that deal and I'm living it out here in UMass Amherst. Granted, it's only saving me about 2 grand a year, but that's still savings from what I have to pay if I'm paying tuition.
If I could do it over again though, I'd have gone to a community college for next to nothing for two years, got a huge discount and the tuition waver out here at UMass, and then went to an awesome graduate school. Would've saved myself some money and I probably would be doing much better having eased myself into the flow of college life with easy courses at the community college.
Meh, live and learn I suppose.

I did the Community College route for two years. It was a hassle trying to transfer everything. I was silly in choosing my courses, because some that I took would transfer here, but not there and that sort of thing. I wish my counselor had been more of a help, she told me things would transfer without a problem. I lost a few classes because of that mistake.

Yea, my girlfriend is pissed because she is halfway through her second semester and it comes time to officially declare majors, and her guidance counselor is like "Hey, how come you haven't taken a bunch of these courses yet?" My girlfriend goes, "what are you talking about, how could you let me NOT take them?!"
So she might have to take classes over the summer since her advisor sucks.
My advisor blows too. She's a middle-aged Vietnamese woman who doesn't know shit about her job. She suggests stuff to me that is just plain idiotic and unhelpful, and I'm frequently telling her stuff about the shit she's supposed to know instead of the other way around.
It's amazing. I wonder who hires these trolls.
