Right now I'm working on a song. I started off with tons of ideas, but now I can't think of anything new.

its called writer's block dude. you seem to be doing fine so far. sometimes what ill do is just think of the song in my head and while im writing it i will also kind of start humming it. usually ill change it and think of a completely new melody. the only problem i encounter is ill think of something that doesnt relate but still sounds cool and start a whole seperate song while tryin to work on the first one.

Well, You're proably running out of inspiration. It happens to me alot too. what I usally do: Go listen to some of your favorite music and study the music, not meaning that you're music has to be like theirs but using some of there styles, like how this sounds or how they did that.
