yeah Hitler was very intelligent thats how he came to power. Anyway Suppose Hitler was shot during World War One. He was in world War One he joined the army because he was a poor homeless painter. If you think about it, Hitler created the atomic bomb. If it wasn't for WW2, whoever forced Einstein to keep working on it and whoever produced the bombs, wouldn't have had a reason to do so. Although, I guess we would have got the atomic bomb eventually, there is plenty of war out there to make weapons for.
