Not long ago me and DJ_OCON did a collab entitled Thugz Ambition, it had a bad name, poor lyrics but the beat was damn good.

I showed 2 kids at my school how to get to the song. One of them, who thinks he's the best rapper ever showed all his friends. Now nearly every one of my friends are asking me to make a beat for them, which is cool but they ask me everyday. I guess there all rappers and are too good to use professional instrumentals by big name hip hop artist.

I can't make a beat that WAS a collab, but im not as good in FL studio as DJ_OCON. I still dont know how he did some of the stuff he did when making the song. I'm not usually to making that type of music.

So everyday its.

"Ameer where's my beat" or "Ameer make me a beat!"
So i tell them
"It's coming when hell freezes over."
It's a lot of pressure, really and frustrating.

I would actually plunk something simple in FL, a drum beat with breaks, single tone bassline, and some melodic string, and sell them the beats for $10-$20. I know an actual producer here that sells beats like that. He gets $100-$150 for ten beats that he probably spent maybe a day on total. Of course he also sells studio time too.

You wouldn't believe the amount of kids at school asking me to make a "phat techno beat".

I don't even make techno. They think that any noise produced by a computer is techno, but I'd really like to get into their thick skulls that techno is actually a really narrow genre.

There's this kid, Patch, at school who has my work on his ipod. He's downloaded all of my stuff from Newgrounds. I went up to me, with my oldest track on his Ipod playing, and says "Dude, you suck. Why did you make something that sucks this bad?" and I tell him "Dude, that's 2 years old"

He still doesn't understand that. Well, he likes Greenday and Immortal Technique and stuff. He pisses me off.

I wouldn't dream of telling my schoolmates that i hav my music on the net. They're all into all the chavvy music and hate me enough as it is. I couldn't imagine the shit i would get from them if they heard my music. Which reminds me, i really should record my newest song.

Yay! Me too, except I'm homeschooled since I'm too lazy to go to public schools (seriously, that's what I told my parents) so there really isn't anyone I could tell about my audio page that sees me outside and/or in real life. (not that the internet is "fake life" but... whatever.)

Because most of them CAN'T SING.

I wouldn't have minded.

I once hada friend who often made music on one of the earlier Ejay programs. Some of them were actually pretty good, although after a while he said to me.
"I wish I hadn't told anyone now, they all want me to do everything for them!"
