Though not all of them but it's still great even if they have different politics.

1 is happy news, but I wouldn't advise anyone to go to Iraq if they're not a soldier or contractor...

Its funny how it is being touted as a joint coalition 'rescue operation'. From what I have heard, the hostages were in a house unguarded.
I hope someone at least blew something up

Guess what they did afterwards, blamed the millitary for the situation in the first place of course!
The average BBS user couldn't detect sarcasm if it was shoved up his ass.

Nevermind... but those civilians shouldn't have been in Iraq in the first place. It's still fairly dangerous.

According to the Pentagon the Canadian SF were involved, although the DND is not commenting. As well the Royal Canadian Moutned Police were involved, along with British and American SF.

All i've heard is that it was SAS that went in there, but then again it was early in the morning, and i dont tend to hear much of anything in the morning.

Without firing a shot, U.S. and British forces stormed a house Thursday and freed three Christian peace activists who were bound but unguarded
sounds like a deal was made... 4 months and suddenly on that very day troops find them un guarded?

True, but it's still very unlikely that they'd find them unguarded

This could just be stockholm syndrome. It is quote common for hostages to start sympathising with their captors after a prolonged period of capture.

Oh goodie! Dudley do right rode to Iraq, facing the wrong way, with his musket. Thank God for the Canadians!

Yea, and immediately said, "hopefully we can get the US out of Iraq". It was only because people rode their ass. And even then it was lackluster and backhandedly insulting.
Joe Biden is not change. He's more of the same.

Uh... surely they are correct - if the US hadn't invaded, there ipso facto would not be a war going on, and they would not have been taken hostage.
It is a bit ungrateful, but they were given a chance to soapbox - why shouldn't they say what they think?

After going to the area they shouldn't been in the first place that is.
