Speaking purely in terms of having effective people in the world, murder all of the severely mentally disabled. It would be far more efficient to kill off the people who can not do much to improve the world, and leave perfectly normal people who can.

Race X. One good thing about the mentally retarded is that they teach us a little something I like to call tolerance. Having the mentally retarded in this world allows us to view the world from a person without much intelligence. This makes us able to veiw the world through a simplistic POV. After all, the smarter you are, the more unique ideas you come up with. The peoples of Race X would offer perspective from a different culture. See, wipe out this race, and people will think into it more. All the dead races that we claim to have done great things... were... well... Dead. Looking at the crap the incans made up for astronimy from our point of view blurs the line rather well, creating a more mixed perspective.

As allways, I am tired so my ideals will probably be shot down in five minutes.

And a minority can't? If you're prejudiced against a minority, you can learn tolerance just as easily.

The mentally retarded would be better off killed than an entire race. Of course, normally, I would say that no genocide should be committed, but if pressed between the two, killing those who are less productive than those who aren't would have to be fueled by some form of prejudice, or logic that I'm completely missing here.

I can't imagine any just reasoning that would lead to the death of a race over the mentally ill...

Also, wouldn't it be possible that some people in that race are mentally retarded? Maybe that race has a higher defect rate then the rest of the world.

I would chose neither, because all races are equal. Race is also pretty much a manmade thing to distinguish one another, and to probably give one race superiority or another back in the old days. I also wouldn't want to kill all the mentally challenged people because it's not their fault they're like that.

But if I had to choose, I'd say the mentally challenged people, because they can't really do much to help the world.

Not necessarily. If one were prejudiced into believing in racial inferiority the same way most people consider extremely mentally deficient people, the two would be flawless parallels. So your point is nullified as making no difference which one of the two options is killed off.

If you admit it's better to admit people with defects than those who aren't necessarily defected, then logically, it would be reasonable to complete your logic and decide on eliminating the severely mentally ill (or however he put it) directly.

I believe that there are alternative motivations to support your thesis over racial hatred, and I don't mean to accuse you of being racist.

People who are severely mentally disabled would continue to be born. Thus, meaning an unending genocide. However, eliminating an entire race all depends on what you consider as "race".

How severe are you talking about because whats severe to me may not be severe to you. And as far as race goes does this also go into crossbreeding between two races, just purely color, or more deeply into their ethnicity even father than skin color.
