Just finished an 2 hour coursework on Shakespeare play Twelth Night only to have my computer crash and losing it all.
Plus I have to do a 3 minute speech infront of a dozen chavs for tomorrow and I havent even prepared.

One time for a English Class. I had to type a 1000 word essay about what i think about the death penalty. So i type all through class time. It was terrible outside. It was like a blizzard when i looked out the window. When i looked back the power went out in the school. I was just about done too. So i failed the class cause of that moment.

Dude, I totally disagree. Just because he's from England does not mean that we in America shouldn't study him. He's easily the best playwright and one of the best poets of all time. He deserves to be studied everywhere. And, for that matter, as does Charles Dickens.

I am sorry about saying "the United States". I mean that students shouldn't be forced to study him anywhere in the world.
He's easily the best playwright and one of the best poets of all time. He deserves to be studied everywhere. And, for that matter, as does Charles Dickens.
There are too many people who deserves recognition and tributes but who won't get it. I am too busy to get to deep into this and explain my thoughts, but the plot is that there is a new culture today.
Study culture of today, because that is what we need to focus on nowadays. The other things are ancient.

I'm in the US, i'm a student, and I love literature... (I still can't spell for crap, but yeah)
It's only the "Kewl kids" that will end up working for you in the long run that don't like school.
But I can see where he is coming from. I don't really like shakespear myself. His poems are good, but most of his stories (for lack of a better word) seem abit long winded and drawn out to me. I prefeer Edgar Allan Poe over any other author.
